  • "We had a fantastic time staying in this beautiful Lodge."

It was as good as, if not better, some 5 star hotels we've stayed in. So comfortable and luxurious. Thoroughly recommend staying here!

  • "We are returning clients and stayed from 21st September to 5th October."

Crosswinds 67 is very much a home from home. It is our favourite go to place on the IoW. The owners have provided everything, although a salt and pepper set would be useful. Whilst we were there a gate was put into the balcony. This is a great asset to keep children and pets safe. The linen is immaculate as is everything else. The hot tub is checked daily. We look forward to returning sometime in the future. It is a real pleasure to stay there.

This property is a great base for your holiday it has everything you need for a comfortable stay the Isle of white is a fantastic place lots of thing to do and see and then after a busy day somewhere comfortable to rest and a hot tub to relax in will definitely go back

We are so happy you had a great time and enjoyed the Isle of Wight - the hot tub is definitely good for relaxing and chilling out! We look forward to welcoming you back. Thanks, Chris & Ruth Property Owner

  • "My husband, son and I absolutely loved this property."

It was spacious, well-lit and clean. The sofas and beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped for a holiday property. We had everything we needed. The facilities at the resort were also well-maintained and the employees were very friendly and helpful. The location was also perfect and made it easy to explore the entire island. Over the years, we have stayed in several holiday properties all over the UK but this one was by far the best. At times, we wanted to just stay there and watch the planes take off and land rather than go and explore because it was that cosy. Our family was so happy with Crosswinds 67 that we've booked the property again for next year!

Hi Cory. We're so glad that you enjoyed your holiday and are so thrilled that you have booked for next year! Thank you for your lovely comments and we look forward to welcoming you back. Chris & Ruth Property Owner

  • "Really lovely lodge ,very spacious and comfortable ."

Lovely white linen on beds and very fluffy soft towels . Hot tub was a little cold on arrival for October ,but after a quick visit to the on site facilities team , they were there sorting it before I got back to lodge .! Chris the owner super helpful with a welcome email and called me back on 1st night when we were having senior persons tech issues with the TV ! The area was lovely and the local village was lovely with some lovely little independent shops plus a lovely bakery, and convenience shop and a boots chemist and take away and fish and chip shop . Benbridge windmill and Roman villa really close , but as the Island is small no where was more than about 30 mins away . Only one thing that could be improved is the decking around the lodge had an open space by stairs so not enclosed and this was a problem as we have a dog , and a lot of the other lodges had gates fitted . Overall a really lovely lodge and holiday . Thank you

The weather helped us to thoroughly enjoy our stay. The only slight niggle we had was with the outside furniture. The seats were not comfortable but it did not spoil our holiday.

  • "This property is lovely, it was beautifully presented on arrival."

It’s a modern spacious caravan with a hot tub. We were a party of 6 using the king size bedroom with a walk in dressing room and a large en-suite with a shower and grand bath which is ideal to bathe children. Also using the twin bedroom with wardrobe and the pull out sofa bed in the lounge. All of which was adequate. Lovely soft white towels and bed linen provided. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for your stay, including a welcome pack of cleaning bits and a tea towel. A useful utility room too. Table and chairs on the decking. This caravan is in a lovely position where we got to see the most beautiful sunsets. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the island and would like to give a special thank you to the owner who was in contact throughout.

About the location

BEMBRIDGE

Ryde 7 miles; Newport 11 miles; Cowes 16 miles; Yarmouth 20 miles.

Bembridge sits on the most eastern point of the Isle of Wight, and it is claimed to be the biggest village in England. Bembridge used to be an island in its own right, and until the Victorian era, was a collection of wooden huts and farmhouses, hence Bembridge remains somewhat detached from the rest of the island even today, which adds to its charm. Bembridge is considered to be one of the most upmarket areas on the island and offers a surprisingly busy intertidal sheltered harbour, which is always full of pleasure crafts and fishing boats providing a constant flow of traffic to and from The Solent. From the harbour you will find quiet beaches consisting of sand and pebbles, perfect for swimming, beachcombing and crabbing and in high winds you will see plenty of kite surfing activity. As you walk along Bembridge beach, you will discover the lifeboat station, cafes and the famous Crab & Lobster Inn, as well as the magnificent Culver Cliffs as your backdrop. The village centre offers a good range of small shops, with its award-winning butcher's and 'The Best Dressed Crab in Town' which is situated in Bembridge harbour, you can also sample local produce from the greengrocer's, visit the art gallery and much more; in fact everything you should need while holidaying here.
