Very clean, comfortable, everything we needed. Owners were lovely and friendly. We didn't use the site bar, pool or entertainment, so we cannot comment on that. The site itself, is well maintained, with lovely views.

Thank you for your lovely comments. We will pass on your feedback about the site maintenance to the park management to let them know their hard work is appreciated! Thanks, Chris & Ruth Property Owner

Extremely comfortable beds and pillows and really fluffy white towels. The kitchen has everything you would need and we loved the open plan arrangement, so could watch to whilst cooking. Loviely decking area in the sun most of the day with table and chairs to enjoy outdoor dining. The lodge is in a quiet area of the park.

Accommodation better than a 5* hotel. Only slight down side was Whitecliff Bay Holiday Village itself could do with an update . Indoor pool was very poor & unfortunately the outdoor pool that looked fine because of the cold weather was off limits. Would definitely book 68 Crosswinds again just for the comfort.

Thank you for your lovely comments and we'd love to welcome you back. I'm sure you'll appreciate that Park facilities are, in the main part, out of our control. However, as owners we liaise regularly with Park management and will forward your comments to them. Thanks again, Chris and Ruth Property Owner

  • "Difficult to find."

No spare bin liners, asked for these, none sent. No welcome pack, not even milk. Nowhere to leave rubbish or recycling, no indication. No 68 very clean, spacious and comfortable.

Customer feed back is extremely important to us as our aim is to provide guests with the highest level of service possible. We are saddened that you were unable to enjoy your holiday due to your wife's illness which impacted not only on your general experience of the Isle of Wight, the facilities at Wight Cliff Bay Holiday Park, but also your impression of the service we provide. Having said that, I hope our telephone conversation has given you some reassurance of the extent we go to above and beyond to ensure that all guests receive the highest level of service possible. That you were not greeted with a welcome pack is strange and we have spoken to our Housekeeping team regarding this. The issue regarding waste disposal is confusing and we continue to request clarification from the Park regarding their policy. We do contact all guests following bookings with a map to our location and information regarding Park facilities. In addition a comprehensive folder containing extensive information on how to operate equipment; medical advice; and suggestions as to places to go recommended by other guests and more, as well as leaflets and information regarding what the Isle of Wight offers is provided in order to enhance your experience. We also contact all guests the day after arrival to ensure that everything is as we expect it to be as well as emphasising to please contact us directly should anything not be to your satisfaction. We have a great team supporting us in our efforts who do their very best to meet our high expectations. However, fortunately extremely rarely, 'oops' moments happen and our 'team' respond as quickly as possible but we're reliant on guests to inform us should such an event occurs. Our property is very precious not only to ourselves but also our guests. It's beautiful, located on the quiet side of the Park yet only a short walk to the main Park facilities. Located near wooded areas look out for red squirrels, enjoy the beautiful views over Culver Downs, look for fossils... Whether you're into Bingo, party animals, sunbathers, swimmers, lovers of sea food, walkers, explorers or just want to chill - it's all there to enjoy! Oh, everyone is allowed to be grumpy from time to time, it's part of being human!! Regards, Chris and Ruth X Property Owner

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed our holiday home, we strive to keep it of a high standard of comfort and cleanliness. It is unfortunate that the facilities on the park are currently substandard. • "It was wonderful, I highly recomend, so clean, so comfortable, with everything we needed."

Our needs are very specific as my husband is really disabled, so a walk in shower and room to be able to comfortably walk around the bed, with as few as possible steps and close parking were all 'musts'. We also had great cooking facilities, a dishwasher and washer, plus the sofas and beds were really comfy (a tv in the main bedroom, which had a king sized bed was particularly helpful). This may be a caravan, but it was head and shoulders about other accommodations, and the area of site was really quiet, another plus. I am so pleased that I found this caravan, I do like caravans, but in general they are nolonger suitable for us, this one was fabulous!

Quiet location and good view of the planes flying from Bembridge. Very clean and comfortable and everything needed was there. About the location

BEMBRIDGE

Ryde 7 miles; Newport 11 miles; Cowes 16 miles; Yarmouth 20 miles.

Bembridge sits on the most eastern point of the Isle of Wight, and it is claimed to be the biggest village in England. Bembridge used to be an island in its own right, and until the Victorian era, was a collection of wooden huts and farmhouses, hence Bembridge remains somewhat detached from the rest of the island even today, which adds to its charm. Bembridge is considered to be one of the most upmarket areas on the island and offers a surprisingly busy intertidal sheltered harbour, which is always full of pleasure crafts and fishing boats providing a constant flow of traffic to and from The Solent. From the harbour you will find quiet beaches consisting of sand and pebbles, perfect for swimming, beachcombing and crabbing and in high winds you will see plenty of kite surfing activity. As you walk along Bembridge beach, you will discover the lifeboat station, cafes and the famous Crab & Lobster Inn, as well as the magnificent Culver Cliffs as your backdrop. The village centre offers a good range of small shops, with its award-winning butcher's and 'The Best Dressed Crab in Town' which is situated in Bembridge harbour, you can also sample local produce from the greengrocer's, visit the art gallery and much more; in fact everything you should need while holidaying here.
