On arrival, be greeted by an off-road parking space, before taking a short stroll to your holiday home.

Entering the property, you will find the open-plan living space, inviting you to sink into the plush seating as you unwind with your favourite show on the Smart TV.

The well-equipped, contemporary kitchen area has everything needed to whip up some hearty meals, which can be savoured at the dining table.

If the weather permits, head outdoors to your private, enclosed veranda and why not savour a cold beverage while overlooking the green?

As the day draws to night, retire indoors and choose between three tastefully-presented bedrooms, two twin rooms, and a double room which boasts the added feature of an en-suite walk-in shower, allowing you to get ready for the day in style.

Each bedroom boasts ample storage for the overpackers of your family, bedside lamps for a nighttime read, and its own access to the veranda, allowing you to invite the fresh coastal air in before catching your rest.

Awaken with a hot soak in the sleek bathtub, or if you are short of time, a quick rinse in the shower, before enjoying a home-cooked breakfast and utilising the coffee machine, courtesy of the kitchen appliances.

If you can tear yourself away, a short stroll will lead you to The Isle of Wight Reptilarium so you can marvel at some fascinating creatures and if that's not for you, maybe explore the rich woodland of Fort Victoria Country Park where you can enjoy a scenic picnic.

History lovers can explore the 16th-century Tudor fortress of Yarmouth Castle, while fishing enthusiasts can cast a line from Yarmouth Pier.

Outdoor adventurers will relish the island's extensive walking trails, including the breathtaking Isle of Wight Coastal Path, which spans over 70 miles of scenic coastline.

Keep an eye out for seals and seabirds nestled in the serene Newtown National Nature Reserve.

For a leisurely beach day, hop on the unique chairlift to Alum Bay Pebble Beach and embark on a pleasure cruise to get up close to the iconic Needles Rocks and Lighthouse.

In the evenings, meander along the idyllic shores of Yarmouth Harbour, with an array of independent eateries and bars to taste-test some local delicacies, with uninterrupted views of the shimmering Solent Waters.

About the location

YARMOUTH

Newport 12 miles; Ryde 18 miles.

The attractive seaside town of Yarmouth is the oldest town on the Isle of Wight, and its busy harbour is a haven for all kinds of watercraft, with the terminal used for regular mainland ferry crossings to Lymington. Yarmouth’s narrow streets are home to an attractive array of shops and inns, whilst a visit to Henry VIII’s castle is not to be missed. There's great cycling (and a cycle hire shop) and walking to be had along the coastal path. Why not take an energetic stroll at the nearby Tennyson Down and Headon Warren. Sandhard beach is 15 minutes' walk away, with Colwell Bay with its sandy beach and amenities for the family 7 minutes away by car. Yarmouth's pier and sailing club jetty is another good spot for crabbing. Four miles away is Compton Bay, famous for dinosaur remains; head there at low tide and see if you can find the two enormous three-toed feet. West Wight is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Yarmouth is an ideal base from which to explore this wonderful island.
