"Lovely property Lovely view Everything we needed Very comfortable stay Great that nearly everyone had en-suite facilities, saving time at night and in the morning Would be even better in the summer with all the facilities in the garden available."
Lovely balcony outside one of the room with a great view. Would definitely visit again if we had a big party like we did this time ..10 of us ranging from 25 to 94. Brilliant having a bedroom and large shower facilities on the ground floor. The only disappointment was the amenities description saying there was ramp access to the property for people with lower mobility..which was a great selling point for us with a 94 year old in a wheelchair when we were looking for suitable properties…but there was no ramp.

"We were 7 adults each wanting our own room and we did manage that although the bunk room is very small even for one adult and the sofa bed in the snug is not perfect."
Other than this we found Burwyns to be extremely comfortable, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are happy to recommend both Burwyns and Sykes to anyone

We did have a couple of issues but they were both solved ASAP so would recommend so very pleased.

About the location
VENTNOR
Newport 10 miles; Cowes 15 miles.
The quaint Victorian seaside resort of Ventnor is located at the southern end of the island and accessed via an array of steep winding roads set amidst beautiful scenery. Sheltered by St. Boniface Down, one of the island's highest points and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this charming town has a uniquely mild micro climate enabling tropical and exotic plants to grow throughout the area. The gently sloping sandy and fine shingle beaches and coves provide excellent facilities for watersports and offer a range of stunning coastal paths to explore, while the harbour sells a broad range of fresh fish and locally-caught seafood. Ventnor is one of the Isle of Wight’s most prestigious food destinations with a good variety of high-quality restaurants,
Bistros, pubs and shops along the esplanade and close to the town centre. The Botanical Gardens are within easy reach and well worth a visit, whilst around the island there are great walking and cycling opportunities, medieval castles, historic houses and a variety of gardens and waterfalls, as well as the unspoilt fishing bay. This great holiday destination has plenty to offer all year-round, and it's easy to see why it's known as the prettiest place on the Isle of Wight!
