  The basket of goodies was a welcome touch.We had a great time with our daughter and grandson (over from N.Z)who loved the toys in the cupboard and playroom.The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were wonderful.The property is close to Sandown and the coastal path.The weather was fantastic and we would not hesitate to rebook in the future.

  The owners had left a welcome basket of various edibles which was a lovely extra touch. We enjoyed our stay here. The location is great for getting to the beach.

• "This property is amazing and a credit to the owners."

  The facilities in the property are second to none and the house was impeccably clean. There was a basket of welcoming items to get the holiday off to a good start before needing to shop. Many games available to keep the kids entertained when necessary. Ample and safe parking for two cars. Property is ideally situated between Sandown and Shanklin. Would we stay here again? • "We travelled as 4 adults with a 2 year old and a 5 month old in tow."

  This property was perfect for all of us both in terms of the space available, the books and toys provided and the baby/toddler equipment, the general basics that are often missing from holiday properties - we loved it. Definitely the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen. Yes the water pressure was a bit hit and miss but we managed not to shower at the same time. There was loads to do in the vicinity and it was a bonus that most places could be reached by public transport as 2 of us travelled that way to the island. We loved the Poo Museum and the playground just close by! The only, minor, drawback was that beyond the immediate service road to the property, there is quite a busy road. It's far enough away not to be noisy but you had to be careful when crossing. The traffic actually stopped for us when we were crossing with a pram and buggy! Also I don't think we would have made it down the steep path to Lake Beach with the pram and buggy but Sandown beach was easily walkable.

• "Wonderful property."

  Lots of space and lots of children toys and items that made it easy! Close to shops and attractions. The water pressure and temperature of the water for baths and showers need to be looked at. Most of the time, you were only getting hot water for a maximum of 4 minutes. most of the other time, the water goes from burning hot to ice cold.

• "We had a really lovely stay and the property was beautiful."

  The rooms were big and spacious and had everything we need. The views from the house were also spectacular. However, on arrival, cleanliness was an issue. The floors in the bathroom were sticky and although not the owners fault, it smelled badly of cigarettes in one of the bedrooms from a previous guest, despite being a non smoking property. The carpets in one of the bedrooms also hadn't appeared to be vaccummed and there were quite a few hairs. The other issue that impacted our stay was the water pressure. Although it states in the guest book that pressure is an issue on the island, we have been to several properties with multiple bathrooms, that you can use simultaneously. The fact that we couldn't use any water in the house whilst someone was showering was very inconvenient. We picked this property due to the multiple bathrooms, but we could only ever use one at a time. It would have also been great if all rooms had storage spaces. Two of the rooms didn't have any clothing space, making it slightly inconvenient for all of us when emptying our luggage.

  Thank you for your feedback. The owner did contact you on the day of arrival and advised departing guests had smoked in the property, and was told told do not worry it is out of your control. Unfortunately the departing guests had disrespected the property. If the housekeeping was a problem the owner would have brought the housekeeping team back starightaway if we had been informed.We are sorry the storage did not meet your requirements there are wardrobes in 3 out of 4 bedrooms and a storage rack in the twin bedroom. • "Absolutely beautiful house with everything you could ever need provided and thought of for all members of the family."

  The most wonderful welcome basket we’ve ever had!!!! The children loved playing with the toys in the playroom and we loved relaxing in the gorgeous lounge. The views from the front of the house were stunning and for us it was an excellent location with quick and easy access to all the tourist attractions we wanted to visit. An amazing stay in a fabulous house and lovely owners. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

• "The house was wonderful it had everything you needed, the super king size bed was very comfortable, however the water pressure could have been an issue if all three are used at the same time, but as only 2 of us at the property it was not a problem."

  The Mall is in an ideal location with a 5 minute walk to the beach and easy access to all areas of the island either by car bus or train.

• "We had a lively stay at 5 The Mall and close to the shops and Attractions."

  The house was lovely clean and spacious downstairs. Upstairs there are 2 very large bedrooms and 2 smaller and I feel it was more suited to 6 adults and 2 children The only downside was the toilet seats did not fit very well which I'm sure could easily be fixed and this would not stop is retuning to the property. We left some pans behind and Satah the owner was very good and speedily put them in the post to us.

• "It's an excellent house that is really well appointed."

  There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and play, which was essential because of some rainy days. It is also in the perfect location for us as we have family in Sandown. It's close the beach, high street, and a short walk to visit our family. I'd definitely recommend it, and we hope to return for a summer break next year.

• "The property is light and spacious providing plenty of room for our family group of 7."

  It is well located with lovely views and came with a generous welcome pack. The kitchen-diner is well equipped making cooking and dining together a pleasure. The ensuite shower room, family bathroom and ground floor cloakroom were more than adequate for our needs. I'm sure if we had been visiting during the summer months, we would have enjoyed using the garden and patio.

• "We had a wonderful stay."

  The house has everything you could need. Hosts have thought of everything and there is a great selection of toys, both inside and outside. Everything is top quality and the beds were very comfortable. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and there was lots of information on places to visit and eat. The location was great and it was very close to a lovely playground. Highly recommended.

• "This property is furnished and equipped to a very high standard."

  The owners have thought of everything that could be needed in the kitchen. It is extremely family friendly, with toys, books, cutlery and plates provided for small children. The house is spacious and airy. It is only a ten minute walk to the beach and there is a decent Tesco Express a couple of minutes walk away. Beds are comfortable and there is a secure private garden. Thoroughly recommended.

• "Amazing house, needs updating."

  . A lot of lime scale in in the unsuite shower.. Timing to leave.. 9:30am and on a Sunday.. hotels are 11am.. option to book early check in and late check is a must given the price. As we arnt from the island, it would be nice to be made aware that taxis are a no go. Others then that we had an amazing stay. Thank you

• "Wonderful property with loads of space."

  Thoughtful welcome package. Cupboard full of children’s toys kept our grandchildren occupied whilst we prepared for the days activities. Well positioned close to the coastal path between Sandown and Shanklin and close to Lots of other attractions. All in all a great holiday and we would have no hesitation in booking this property if we decide to holiday in the Isle of Wight again
