"A beautiful cottage that has everything you need."
Clean and well presented and toasty warm. In a great location for visiting the attractions and some lovely dog walks on the doorstep. A very lovely welcome pack included. Would highly recommend Orchard Retreat. Thank you for a great home from home.

Such lovely surroundings with all the apples hanging from the trees. We lucky to see the apple pickers doing their job. really interesting. House was clean warm and so spacious. Thank you for our welcome pack. Lovely to know it was filled with goods from the area. We were lucky to have really good weather. Visited so many interesting places. Thank you

"Lovely comfortable Accomodation in a great setting by Oa st house and orchard."

"This was an excellent cottage which had everything you could want, which you don't always find everywhere for example a tall wardrobe space and hooks on doors."
The furniture was very comfy and a nice cosy bed. The kitchen was well stocked and we got a lovely welcome pack on arrival. There was a nice courtyard seating area but quite enclosed and did not get the evening sun, could do with a small patio on the other side of the property where there is a magnificent view across the valley, but would highly recommend it.

"Loverly cottage and location, fantastic views."
Comfortable and well furnished. Ideal location for walks or trips.
-
"Had an enjoyable holiday."
Cottage clean, spacious and well equipped. Lovely views and good location for visiting area. Very nice welcome pack. Possibly worth mentioning although it didn't impact too much on our enjoyment but it might affect others looking for a really quiet holiday as lots of noise from aircraft on flight path to airport, intermittent dog barking, crow scarer and noise from gravel drive when truck drove off each morning at 6.30.

"What a superb cottage in a truly stunning locale."
Hard to find any issues with the cottage and it’s facilities (except perhaps the need for a shower mat for us elderlies!). A very generous welcome package was provided. Overall a lovely short break for us and before leaving we had already decided to return next year.
-
"The best Sykes accommodation we have stayed."
Wonderful spot, orchards literally all around in full blossom. Facilities great. Perfect for visiting National Trust properties and Heaver Castle. Ideally located for local pubs and restaurants. Would certainly recommend and will book a repeat holiday Thanks all involved

"One of the best we've ever stayed in!"
Spacious and comfortable with everything you could need and a lovely welcome pack
-
"Orchards Retreat was a lovely place to stay, very clean and well equipped, although i did leave a note for owners about a few things that are needed in my opinion - A shelf or work service in bathroom as nowhere to put toiletries, a non slip mat in shower and grab bar, hooks behind doors for dressing gown etc and a new toilet seat in bathroom that stays up when used by a man."
The other other issue we had was my husband constantly banged his head on sloping ceiling in bedroom The approach was described as past a few outbuildings(we were expecting barns etc) when in fact it could be described as small industrial units for many uses before you reached the drive to the house

"Great property, well kitted out and very comfortable."
Really enjoyed my stay.

"Really great property, beautifully kitted out and in a lovely location."
Warm & comfortable in January. Generous welcome pack of local goodies.

"From the moment we walked in we felt warmth and comfort and a welcoming environment both inside and outside."
It was a pleasure to stay in such a lovely spot and our dog had a lovely safe landscape just outside to wander, run and sniff. Very convenient for local supermarkets and shops and 15 mins to Tonbridge where our son and family were based for Christmas get togethers. Lovely array of gifts on our arrival and a welcome pint of milk. All in all a pleasurable stay. Highly recommend.

"The cottage was very comfortable for 2 people and well presented ."
There was a bed settee in the main living space but I don't think it would have been suitable for another couple. The only things that I would have liked provided would have been rolls of cling film and foil.

"An excellent stay - absolutely gorgeous plans peaceful location and a wonderfully renovated space."
The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious. The dog had a fabulous stay as well and we really appreciated the private and enclosed courtyard that allowed us to leave the door open without worrying about an escape artist dog! Super handy to have a washing machine and dishwasher during our stay as well. Hosts were accommodating, friendly and very helpful. We loved the log burner too! We will absolutely be back! Thanks for an excellent week away!

"An outstanding, immaculate property finished to a very high standard."
Everything was done incredibly well from the generosity of the welcome pack to the comfort of the bed with its fine quality duvet and pillows. In all, a well appointed home from home where nothing is left to chance. Thank you.

"We loved staying at Orchard Retreat."
The converted garage is in a wonderful setting with orchards all around, and lovely views. It was in a quiet spot, but very close to amenities and also many wonderful places to visit. The cottage is spacious, clean and very well equipped with everything you could need on holiday. We had an unsettled weather week and really enjoyed having the brilliant log burner to make it cosy. We received a friendly text from the owner welcoming us and advising we could enter the property slightly earlier, and there was a great welcome pack of goodies when we arrived. Very friendly people and somewhere we would highly recommend and would like to return to. Thank you !

"Orchard Retreat has everything we needed."
It was modern, clean and had a lovely courtyard garden for our dog. The surroundings were quiet and beautiful. It was ideally situated for the many attractions in the area and close to main roads for getting about. Jess was in contact with us, offered early check in and left us a lovely welcome pack for our arrival. We had such a lovely time in this gorgeous part of the country.

"Excellent property, very comfortable and beautifully clean and well presented, including some lovey welcome gifts."
Having recently entered the EV world a perfect rating for Orchard Retreat from us would need the availability of EV charging, be that a charge point or outside 3-pin plug.

"We absolutely loved our stay at Orchard Retreat and would have booked to stay for another week but unfortunately it had already been booked."
The location is absolutely stunning with apple and pear orchards at the front and side of the property, and a beautiful view of green fields and hills from the kitchen windows. You can walk directly from the property via a little used public right of way, which takes you on possibly the most lovely walk I have ever done, through the orchards, farmer's fields dotted with Oast Houses, then through a lovely private estate. The cottage has been completely renovated and refurbished this year to a high standard so is as new and very attractive and comfortable inside with everything you could possibly need. The owners live at the beautiful Oast House adjacent to the cottage and are very friendly and helpful, they provided a lovely welcome pack of local Kent produce plus a very welcome bottle of bubbly. We would love to return there and it comes highly recommended.
