"We found the property very clean and comfortable."
It was situated in a quiet spot. The owner welcomed us with a food hamper which was unexpected and very generous. However the only down side were the showers, the en suite was too small and the showers were temperamental, going hot and cold, possibly due to the boiler. We would recommend that electric showers are fitted as we found the current ones unsafe.

"This Lodge is in a lovely, very rural location but it has good access to all main routes covering Canterbury, the N & NE Kent coast."
We found it to be a very comfortable & well equipped with good quality bedding & towels and plenty of hot water. Fans were provided for when it was hot but as it got colder it was easy to heat so felt very cosy. The only thing to note is that the bedrooms are very small, they had plenty of wardrobe space but floor space was very limited, especially around the bed in the second room. There is a nice outside space with seating provided which unfortunately due to the weather we were unable to make use of. There was good safe parking but not right outside the property. The whole development looked neat and well cared for and we had a good weeks holiday.

"Immaculately presented very clean and very well appointed lodge in a quiet location."
Very comfortable for a very relaxing stay. A wonderful welcome pack was provided which is probably the best welcome pack we’ve had over many years of renting holiday cottages.

"Good location and nice property, liked the extras."
Was a bit surprised to no washing machine, but had a dish washer, which we never use.As we pack as light as possible we always do washing when away.We had to go and buy a clothes airer and wash bits by hand.Did find the ensuite shower quite cramped, and smallest bed to small. It is an extremely hot property, and was thankful for the fans provided. There was a problem most evenings and a couple of times in early hours of morning ( 4.50 am) we was woke up by nearby dogs howling and barking !! Also the the internet needed rebooting 7 to 8 times every evening, which was a bit annoying.

"The lodge was super clean and the welcome goodies was extremely thoughtful."
It's set in a beautiful setting too. I gave 4 instead of 5 for comfort, only because my husband and I are quite small but found that the second bed which we had to use because the master room was used by my disabled friend, was a little small. I understand that there isn't much you can do about it given the room. I would still recommend the lodge to friends and have already done so.

"We had a wonderful week and felt really relaxed."
The lodge was very comfortable and contained all that we needed plus lots of extras. We would certainly consider staying there again as it is also in a good position for the places we wanted to visit in Kent.

-

The beds were very comfortable.Although the shower cubicle was small, the shower itself was excellent. The lodge was very well equiped with a lavish welcome pack! We enjoyed our week in the Kent countryside.

"This is an extremely well equipped lodge which is spacious warm and comfortable."
The views around the lodge are very good and provide a nice backdrop when sitting outside in the evening. The owners, David and Bridget, are very helpful and go out of their way to ensure that you have a pleasant stay. We thoroughly recommend this lodge as a great place to visit the coastal towns and villages nearby.

"We had a last minute two night stay at 4 Country View Park."
We found it very welcoming and relaxing. I look forward to returning in 2024. Great hosts !
-
"Excellent property in a quiet location but conveniently located for easy access to the facilities which Whitstable had to offer."
Particularly impressed with the welcome pack. David and Bridget contacted us in person a week or so before our arrival to explain how to find the property and tell us the eateries and shops in the area which was most useful. The property is really well located to access the attractions in Kent with places such as Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Dover Castle, Herne Bay and Margate to name but a few, all being in an easy driving distance on good roads. Would certainly look to use this property again if we were to holiday in the area in the future. Thanks for being a big part in a great stay.

"We really enjoyed our stay."
The arrival instructions and call from David were very clear and helpful. The lodge has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack, full of local Kent goodies, was an unexpected, lovely surprise. Thank you David and Bridget!
-
"Lovely lodge, really homely and clean."
The beds were comfortable, lots of towels and a really well equipped kitchen. The welcome pack was the best we have ever had, five star. The decking and outside of lodge could do with painting. Couldn't go for a walk from the lodge as the country lanes were to dangerous but could get to places in the car fairly quickly. Had a nice relaxing holiday.
-
"Absolutely loved our stay here."
The lodge was excellent. Everything was provided and the welcome pack was amazing. Even milk was provided so there was no need to dash out to find somewhere to buy anything! The view was lovely, the area was peaceful and quiet. A short drive to the sea. Wonderful.

-
"This lodge is ideal for a very relaxing break as it is situated in a very peaceful countryside location yet within very easy car access of Whitstable, Faversham, Canterbury and all of the Thanet coastal towns."
-
"This was our second stay at the Lodge and once again it was exceptional."
All the comforts of home and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The Lodge is in quiet surroundings but near to the town of Faversham offering a friendly warmth from the local people. Also nearby Whitstable, with its independent shops, sea and oysters is a place to visit. The friendliness of the hosts is over and above expectations. The welcome pack is exceptional with a lot of thought put into it. Thank you both so much for everything. I sing your praises to family and friends. See you again.

"We had a fabulous week in this exceptional lodge…."
All the comforts of home and more, lots of lovely extra touches (towels, dressing gowns, very generous Welcome Pack, fans) add to the already stylish comfort of the lodge. Very comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, all set in a peaceful, rural location but with easy access to all the local places to see. Would highly recommend, a very nice place to stay indeed.

"This is a lovely lodge."
We loved how welcoming the host was. He contacted us before arriving to let us know the key collection details and to ask if we had any dietary requirements for the welcome pack of scones and, cream and milk. Truly above and beyond. It was lovely and quiet with beautiful views. A short drive to the coast and a great farm shop. Lots of things to visit locally, we enjoyed a trip to Rochester which is less than an hour away. The property is small but very comfortable and more than met our needs.

Not very good, but very very very good. The welcome pack and other things provided are really outstanding. This is well into the top 3 Sykes places I have ever been to. I would recommend it to anyone. The owners are very friendly and very helpful. An extra bonus is the sunsets you get just sitting on the front veranda.

"This cottage was amazing."
We loved our stay. The hosts were attentive when (rarely) needed, and left lovely treats for us on arrival. We would recommend this as a lovely getaway to all: peace and quiet, luxury and the opportunity to get away from busy lives (And Tesco deliver!) Thank you for a lovely fortnight Tom and Adam

"This is a very comfortable Lodge and everything is top quality."
There were some lovely touches added which made this so comfortable in the week we stayed in October 2020. I would recommend without hesitation to friends and family as it is also an ideal location for travelling around Kent.

About the location
SEASALTER
Whitstable 2 miles; Herne Bay 6 miles; Canterbury 5 miles; Faversham 5 miles; Westgate-on-Sea 10 miles.
Seasalter is a pretty village located by the sea on the north coast of Kent, between the towns of Whitstable and Faversham. The beach at Seasalter is mainly shingle and sand and therefore quieter than the more sandy bays at Westgate-on-Sea which is just along the coast. Seasalter Sailing Club, which has a clubhouse on Faversham Road, hosts catamaran boats which race on the River Swale Estuary, and there is also a private Water Ski Club with launch ramp. The Sportsman is a very popular pub and restaurant, earning a Michelin-star in 2008, so if you are celebrating a special event while visiting Seasalter this offers a mouthwatering menu, just make sure to book in advance. Public transport is very well covered in this village with regular buses to Canterbury, Whitstable and Faversham, each place offering visitors a day full of interest. Canterbury is ideal for a day exploring historic houses, taking walks or boat trips along the river, visiting a museum or two, a theatre evening or just enjoying a browse around the shops. A little less well known is that in Canterbury The Spitfire Ground is home to Kent County Cricket Club, and as well as cricket hosts other events during the year, so if a day of "leather on willow" is just for you or maybe a music event is more your scene, look to see what is on during your stay. Whitstable is a quaint coastal town, with cobbled streets, quirky shops and a well -visited fishing harbour where you can buy fish straight off of the boats, and if you want something to wash it down with, then take a trip to Faversham where you can take a guided tour around Shepherd Neame, Britain's oldest brewery dating back to 1698 and select a bottle to take home. After all the tours and sampling you may feel a day of walks and beachcombing could be just what you need, so pack a picnic and with a beach towel and a hat to shield the sun, make for the beach at Seasalter and enjoy the sound of the waves and the scent of the sea!
