"A beautiful furnished flat on the second floor sadly scared by water damage to the ceilings, this in no way spoilt our stay, the stunning views took our eyes away."
The furniture and fittings were first class along with very comfortable beds. There was only one slight drawback and that was the lift which was out of order for the length of our stay. Overall I rate this accommodation very highly.

"Lovely holiday home with amazing views."
We loved the new layout it worked very well. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with modern fixtures and fittings. The owner sent us lots of information which was very helpful and made everything run smoothly for us.An added bonus was seeing a swan swimming in the sea and watching the fishing boats coming in.

"The appartment was nice ."
Unfortuntely we had some heavy rain and this caused some leaks from ceilling in front room and main bedroom.we reported this to caretaker who was very helpful.we left a day early because of this problem

"Lovely place for a relaxing holiday sea view great very clean apartment"
-
"Would have been great apart from the water leak which had left lights in lounge and bedroom being disconnected."
Because of leak in bedroom main bed had been moved towards the wall , which made it really tight to get into the bed . Apart from this was a lovely quiet and pleasurable holiday.

"I had an excellent stay in Hythe."
It was the first time of staying during the colder months. The facilities were ideal, needing nothing. Excellent communication to understand and willingness to meet my needs for health challenges. It made for a stress free break. Can not fault it at all. I would not hesitate to consider it for a future holiday.

"It is a beautiful modern appartment, situated on the beach."
It was a short walk into Hythe, there is plenty to do.

"Its comfortable apartment on the fishing beach, very close to waters."
You have everything there, even more then needed, comfort, warm, clean. We have liked this closeness of the sea, especially in the storm, which was a few days...loud, great sound of big waves, whistling of the strong wind which come into flat, gave us unforgettable experience. Also a great long, long promenades along the sea where you can walk, doing your daily miles.10 thousand of steps daily you need for your health, or around it.:) We did it. There is a nice little town where you can meet, again, everything you need, we were shopping in Waitrose, also manicure, pedicure - a lot places you can use too. Great holiday, thank you....Still listening the sound of waives in my mind... Larysa

"This is a beautiful apartment in an ideal situation."
We thoroughly enjoyed staying there and loved the great sea views. The accommodation is very comfortable and really well equipped. It would have been nice to know that it is on the second floor as information about accessibility is important for many people.

"A short stay in this beautiful location was exactly what I needed."
It was so relaxing. The view from the apartment is fantastic and we were blessed with some lovely autumn sunshine that meant I could enjoy sitting out on the balcony. If you are a sea lover, this is the perfect place. I have returned home feeling refreshed and already looking at dates to book a return visit for next year.

"The apartment SHORE was like staying in a 5 star hotel."
Fabulous location and facilites
-
"Hythe as a town is fairly poor, there is precious little to do."
-
"The apartment is lovely and has all the facilities needed."
I am in a wheelchair and was able to get around easily although it was always a worry that the lift wouldn’t be working. You are within easy distance by car to most places.

"Shore is an exceptionally well situated apartment with top spec facilities and a fantastic view."
Communication with the owner was faultless, this was our second visit and we look forward to staying there again later this year.

"An amazing property!"
The views are stunning, the facilities are excellent and the location is perfect.

"In your description it would be helpful to include the floor the apartment is on, also that it is in a residential apartment block."
Shore is a clean, comfortable and well equipped apartment, on the seafront with good sea views from the living area. Curtains in the living area would have been nice, not only for privacy but to feel cosy on long winter evenings and shade from the low glaring winter sun in the daytime. There was no visitors book which is a shame as it is always good to know other people’s recommendations and views on restaurants, walks places to visit and things to look out for etc, like the seal we watched from the apartment and the kingfisher along the canal. The apartment is in a good location and was good for our New Years break which we enjoyed very much.

"The views at sun rise and sun set are exceptional The apartment is well equipped and spacious The beds comfortable and the linens and duvets and pillows beautiful It did not effect us but there are no curtains or blinds in the living area."
I loved this are we were warm and snug inside and outside the weather raged in a cold December snap There are no building to overlook the windows However better to know this before deciding to book

"The apartment as listed had a fantastic vista as located right on the sea front, the facilities were great, to a exceptionally high standard."
We were very fortunate with the weather, the apartment had everything we could want to keep us amused. We had a few concerns with one in our party with slight mobility issues but the lift was a welcome extra, especially with heavy suit cases. It was a shame that the property developer had not numbered the parking bays to avoid any confusion and upsetting with the local residents as there appeared to be plenty of bays available. We all had a fantastic holiday and the Shore apartment will be a hit with many visitors.

About the location
HYTHE
Folkestone 4.3miles; Channel Tunnel 4 miles; Dymchurch 6 miles; Dover 13 miles, Canterbury 20 miles.
Hythe is one of the five original Cinque Ports identifed by Edward the Confesssor as ports that would provide ships and sailors to protect this part of the English coastline from invaders, and in exchange the towns would retain all legal fees assigned in court cases. Of course this made these towns far more prosperous than most towns of the same size, and the result of this can still be seen by visitors when visiting Hythe. Running through the centre of the town is The Royal Military Canal. This was dug during the Napoleonic era as a defensive measure against possible French invasion. Now this lovey waterway is more popular with walkers and those taking a break from work; the grassy banks are a delightful place to picnic or sit and read. You can even hire a rowing boat and row yourself along the Canal and this unique part of Kent. A five minute stroll from the town and you will find yourself on the sea front. This wide promenade overlooks a long stretch of beach, with views over the English Channel to France, it is ideal for a summer picnic and safe bathing. Hythe offers visitors so much with golf, tennis, riding, bowls, squash, boating, windsurfing, freshwater and sea angling all available. Romney Marsh lies west of the town and can be explored by foot, car, bicycle or using the world's smallest public railway. Hythe is the eastern terminus for the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Light Railway, so why not climb aboard and alight at Dungeness where you can visit the nature reserve, explore the lighthouse, and perhaps get a chance to see some painters and artists at work, before returning by the narrow gauge railway back to the delights of Hythe.
