"Lovely little apartment in a very good location, extremely clean and well presented, just a short walk to the town and sea front, garden was great for the dog."
Parking can be a little interesting but plenty of car parks in the area. Ideal location for a short break
-
"Comfortable, clean and well equipped."
Very enjoyable stay. Great location for getting around Whitstable and to the beach on foot. Found Whitstable very dog friendly and would definitely book again.
-
"One of the best, comfortable properties we have stayed in."
The parking is a problem but we booked a space through Just Park which was a short walk away. The listing gives the impression there is a freezer but it is just the freezer compartment in the fridge. Also it lists a wine cooler and there isn't one. The TV was a challenge as it was a very smart device but we just asked Alexa and she helped find what we wanted. We would definitely book again.

"The apartment was lovely and clean and very comfortable, loved how it was presented and very modern."
Also loved the little doggie touches. We didn’t have an issue with parking because mainly stayed in the area but if you did have any problems the train station car park is a 5 minute walk and very cheap for a week.

"The house was nice and clean."
As the weather was very hot the bedroom was very hot. A fan provided would be nice. An airer provided would of helped to dry towels etc outside. The grass would of been nice cut and garden maintained. Parking was difficult. A permit would of helped so much. We would of payed extra for that.

"Excellent apartment!"
We could have moved in permanently! We loved the little doggy touches, bowls the treats and the dog bed which our sausage dogs liked and also a spare lead. We've stayed in other holiday accommodation where there has been lots of do's and don'ts this wasn't like that it was just relaxing and welcoming, also beautiful decor.

"Lovely place with all you need for a break contrary to reviews we found the bed to be very comfy"

"We think it would benifit to have a parking permit there are a couple of car ..."
We think it would benifit to have a parking permit there are a couple of car parks on the road but permit only otherwise the road is absolutely packed the station car park that you advertise is far too far away to unload just saying

"Lovely flat well decorated cosy and very clean."
A little too far for us t 84 to walk to seafront but enjoyed the garden but needs lighter more comfortable garden furniture overall very relaxing holiday .

"The flat was very nice and clean."
The bed was comfortable, it has a lovely garden to sit out in and a short walk from shops cafes and restaurants. The only down side for us was the upstairs flat had quite a big dog that barked a lot so was very noisy but overall we enjoyed our stay very much. But maybe a good idea to only have small dogs staying

"The place had everything we needed and was very and comfortable the bed was so ..."
The place had everything we needed and was very and comfortable the bed was so good we did not want to get out of it sorry we did not leave anything in the visitors book we never had a pen and could not find one

"(1) The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable."
Mattress is so thin that the springs are so prominent. (2) we only have very small sausage dogs and the grass had not been cut. Would suggest cutting the grass prior to visits. Other than that the property is beautiful. It’s clean and very well laid out. Decor is great. Lovely little place. Would def be back for a weekend in the future without children.

"We loved our stay at Mable, the property was extremely clean and decorated very well, the established garden was also lovely and I found the bed to be so comfortable."
The location was great only minutes away from the shops and a short walk to the beach.

"Lovely little apartment close to all amenities."
Plenty of room for a couple and a dog or two. All mod cons except for a washing machine. Very clean and comfortable. Hard floors throughout except in bedroom. The lawn was in need of a cut as it was over grown but we visited early in the season so I'm sure this will be sorted before visitors will be sitting outside.
Thank you very much for your feedback and we’re pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We did consider a washing machine but with so little room in the kitchen, it would be very difficult to achieve. The garden is scheduled to be done but the wet weather has created a bit of a challenge with this! We do hope you return sometime. Property Owner

"The apartment was really lovely very clean and practical."
I think that it would be good to have a broom available so I could have swept the floors before leaving. Also it was a shame the garden was very overgrown.
Thank you very much for your feedback and we hope you enjoyed your stay. The garden is scheduled to be done however the weather has played havoc with our plans! Unfortunately, the cleaner put the hoover away in our storage cupboard but we will rectify this for future guests. We hope you will return in the future. Property Owner

"What a gem!"
A beautiful place to stay and in an excellent location for the town and local amenities. The property had everything we needed, was beautifully furnished and was warm and comfortable. We have had a wonderful few days in Whitstable and will definitely return, hopefully to Mabel! Certainly recommend this property!
Thank you very much for such a lovely review. We’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope you will visit again. Please do not hesitate to let us know if there’s anything else that would make your stay even better. Property Owner

"The flat was beautiful with quality furnishings but the parking was a nightmare so would never stay there again."
One point for elderly visitors like myself although the door handles were beautiful I found them hard to turn and got locked in the dining room!!!
Thank you very much for your feedback and we’re so sorry that you had difficulties with the door handles. Well most certainly look to see if we can make any improvements. Sadly, parking in Whitstable is the one thing we cannot improve but we understand why that would be an issue. Property Owner

"Really lovely apartment, warm and cosy."
Felt very at home, very dog friendly too. Would love to return. Only negative for me is the parking but that can’t be helped but for that reason I would never return at peak times.
Thank you very much for your review and we’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay and sincerely hope you do decide to return. Sadly the parking is something we cannot change but totally understand that this is an issue. Property Owner

About the location
WHITSTABLE
Herne Bay 5 miles; Canterbury 7 miles.
The lively town of Whitstable, which is known as the “Pearl of Kent”, dates back to before the Domesday Book. Its seaside location makes it ideal for watersports all year round, and its fishing heritage is reflected by the Oyster Festival, which takes place every July. The buzzing local museum/art gallery introduces around six new exhibitions each year, and has a fabulous coffee shop. Whitstable Castle dates back to the 1790’s, and hosts events all year round including a big May Day celebration with contributions from local musicians and artists. The town is home to a small, independent brewery, and any need for retail therapy will easily be satisfied by the range of both national stores and charming small, independent shops. Whitstable is also home to The Pearsons Arm, a gastropub owner by celebrity chef Richard Phillips and nearby in Seasalter is the Michelin star-awarded gastropub, The Sportsman which is also well worth a visit. The city of Canterbury, with its fine 6th century cathedral is just 7 miles away; also nearby is Herne Bay, from where on a clear day you can see as far as Southend and the Isle of Sheppey.
