"This is a 5 star apartment, fixtures and fitting first class, the whole place is decorated nicely throughout, only thing for some people would be the stairs are steep with no handrail which for us being in our late seventies and fit didn't bother us."
Chris and Pat Womack, Lowestoft, Suffolk. PS My wife did leave her watch and earrings behind on the bedside cabinet but the owner kindly posted them back. Many thanks for that.

"The flat was wonderful with everything you could wish for."
It was home from home. The bed was lovely and cosy and very comfortable. It was great to have towels that fitted round you. Parking was ok and we always managed to find a space. Only a couple of points with the door handles although lovely kept getting stuck and the glass at the top of the door leading up to flat could benefit from some covering.

"‘Sally’ was one of the best little rentals we’ve ever had."
We were visiting family in Whitstable and the apartment was so well equipped, it had everything you could need. Even down to blackout blinds behind the curtains. The towels were lovely and soft, everything felt very new and fresh. Cleanliness was incredible. If I really had to think up any feedback it would be, would have preferred white bedding. Just gives a cleaner feel - but I’m being extremely picky as the bed and bedding was so comfy. I’m not sure why others have feedback about the parking - we stayed in August and parked easily every day. Sometimes it was a couple of minutes down the road but was no fuss as we were on our holidays!! We’ll absolutely be back!!

"Fresh and clean flat which has been really thoughtfully put together to create a comfortable, relaxing environment which has everything you need for a break."
Close to the front, the station, shops, restaurants and main road out of Whitstable. The down side is definitely the parking and sometimes dangerous driving on Cromwell Road, but as long as you are prepared to be flexible, it is manageable and it did not detract from spending a very enjoyable week in a town we love. Really do recommend a swim in Tankerton - the water was absolutely beautiful.

"Lovely apartment, very clean and has everything you need."
A great location. We travelled by train; station is a few minutes walk from the apartment which is also close to Whitstable high street with its wonderful range of independent shops and restaurants. Walking distance to the beach too. There is a good bus service to Canterbury and Herne Bay, and trains to Margate, Broadstairs and Dover.

"Great place to stay."
5 min walk from the station and 5 min walk from the high street. Beautifully furnished. Will come again!

"A really lovely property."
Tastefully decorated. One recommendation we would like to see is a bannister installed for the stairs. It was a little worrying coming down the stairs with nothing to hold onto. Especially when carrying suitcases. Parking was okay as we managed to find a space close to the property. Great place to visit.

"The flat is in a very central location for the High Street and the Harbour."
It was clean and comfortable very nicely furnished. Kitchen and Bathroom were exceptional with plenty of hot water. We did not find parking a problem when we arrived but we did not move the car during our stay. The flat is ideal for a couple for a short break. The only downside was the road outside. It was hot so windows were open and Cromwell road is a rat run from the harbour to the end of town thus missing the busy high street. Traffic was constant and fast and noisy.

"Everything was great about the flat apart from being able to acess the smart tv in the living room and not being able to undo door via thw handles frim the inside if thw rooms (trapped)."
Finding a parking space was terrible had to park on double yellow lines to unpack cases. The stay otherwise was comfotable and the facilities great.

"The apartment is tastefully decorated and very clean."
The facilities are excellent - the bed is very comfortable; the shower room and separate loo are practical. We think a cafetiere might be a useful addition as not everyone likes coffee pods. Our dog loved her stay even though there is no garden, there are plenty of interesting walks nearby. We found parking was a nightmare so would advise future guests to be prepared to use a car park and walk about 8 minutes to the property.

"Lovely place, really close to the high street"
Thank you very much for your feedback and we’re very pleased you liked the flat. Can I ask what the problem was with the listing so we can seek to address this? Many thanks. Property Owner

The town is home to a small, independent brewery, and any need for retail therapy will easily be satisfied by the range of both national stores and charming small, independent shops. Whitstable is also home to The Pearsons Arm, a gastropub owner by celebrity chef Richard Phillips and nearby in Seasalter is the Michelin star-awarded gastropub, The Sportsman which is also well worth a visit. The city of Canterbury, with its fine 6th century cathedral is just 7 miles away; also nearby is Herne Bay, from where on a clear day you can see as far as Southend and the Isle of Sheppey.
