"A lovely spacious apartment superbly located for exploring Tunbridge Wells and trains to London."
We had an enjoyable stay. Although there is a dedicated parking space the residents of the flat above parked in the space one day and blocked us in on another. This was resolved on discussion with the other residents.

"The property is spotlessly clean, tidy, comfortable and very close to the city centre."
However, I don't feel that the description regarding the parking situation is correct. It stated that the middle parking space is for the ground floor flat, and yes, also that it is first come first served. In fact, one of the flats had two vehicles parked and one of the vehicles was continuously using the middle space. When we enquired with the person who owned the vehicle, we were told that we shouldn't be parking there anyway. It would be much more accurate simply to state that you need to make alternate arrangements, rather than arriving with an expectation of being able to park outside the flat. Also, there is very limited space alongside each side of the double bed in the smaller bedroom and the right hand side has a radiator on the wall as well which makes it awkward to get into the bed. It wouldn't be suitable for a person with mobility issues but the single beds in the bigger room are more accessible.
Thank you for your feedback. I’m aware another flat has 2 cars but they shouldn’t have told you that you shouldn’t park there. You are completely within your right to. I’m in the process of linking this middle parking space with the flat, currently sorting out legals. (Parking sace now linked September 2024) Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you in the interim. Your feedback is also noted regarding the bed access. It is a bit of a tight squeeze, again further, apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. Warm regards Property Owner

About the location
ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS
Lamberhurst 7 miles; Hever 9 miles; Maidstone 15 miles; Rochester 18 miles.
Royal Tunbridge Wells has been a popular place to visit for over 400 years, ever since a natural spring, known as The Chalybeate Spring, was unearthed by chance by a young nobleman. Due to the discovery of these health-giving waters, Royal Tunbridge Wells quickly became a magnet to those looking to improve their well-being whilst enjoying the beautiful surrounding countryside. The Wells are still open from Easter to September, where a costumed ‘dipper’ will serve you a glass for a small charge. With a wealth of interesting history to discover, this spa town now offers a vibrant, bustling destination with shops, restaurants, bars, bistros and theatres surrounded by woodland and greenery. You only have to spend a day walking the cobbled streets, browsing the boutiques and mulling over the items to be found in any of the curio or antiques shops, tucked away in the side streets, to see why this ancient town is one of the most visited in Kent. Enjoy a coffee and slice of cake in one of the plentiful pavement cafes as you relax, before taking in a play or concert at the one of the three theatres. This lively town offers everything from shops to cycle paths, pubs to parks, museums and historic houses, theatres, restaurants and walking routes into the country, so whether you’re looking for a romantic weekend or a longer holiday exploring the historic towns and villages of Kent, then you’ve found the perfect spot.
