  • "We had a lovely time in this little house."

Everything we could possibly want was provided and it was very clean, warm and comfortable. It even had a covered area with seating at the back of the yard. Westgate itself was a surprisingly buzzy little town and the beaches were beautiful - the cafe on the promenade had superb views.

  • "Lovely cottage and we enjoyed our stay in November 2024."

Location: I really liked the location- lovely to be able to walk to the sea front in a few minutes for nice walks. Good attractions nearby- we walked to Margate one day and drove to Whitstable another day. The restaurants, bars and cafes of Westgate-on-Sea are also on your doorstep, and a small cinema is nearby. Cottage: It was impeccably clean and clearly well maintained. I would flag (as the listing doesn't mention it) the property does abut the train line. It didn't really bother us (we live near a train line at home), and there aren't overly frequent trains, but for some people it may cause bother. Apart from the trains it is a quiet area. Nice range of kitchen items (although perhaps could have done with some more cutlery). The cottage was nice and cosy, and the Wi-Fi was fast and fine for us and able to cope well with video calls etc. Overall I would definitely recommend.
