"Excellent property."
Very well appointed with quality fittings. House was spotless and with temperatures plummeting in Nov it was very warm and cosy. Beds comfortable. Excellent location in Whitstable 10 minutes walk if that to the high street and 5 minute walk to the harbour. Would highly recommend and would use again if holidaying in this area.
-
"An excellent property, well appointed, spotlessly clean, first class linen and comfortable bedding."
Felt like home from home with fixtures, fittings and artwork to our taste. Excellent location within walking distance from harbour, high street and restaurants. Parking on site, and recreation area for dogs and children 200 yards away. Good local well stocked Co-op corner shop.
-
"Excellent place to stay, well located & spotlessly clean"
-
"Off street parking always a bonus."
The house had plenty of room, very comfortable and well equipped. Close enough to beach and town centre, both within a 10 minute walk and benefiting from being in a slightly quieter and less busy area. Train station close by too for day trips to Margate etc. The property owner was friendly and very proactive ahead of our stay to make sure we had everything we needed.
-
"The property was perfect it was a shame there were no BBQ equipment."
Beds were very comfy. The kitchen had everything you needed. The property wasn’t too far from the centre of town. The property was perfect.

"We had a really good time."
Very modern. It was really good to have a decent, complete kitchen set rather than the one rusty saucepan, old plastic spoon and broken knife you might get elsewhere in older properties. The property owners have obviously spent some time thinking about what would make peoples lives easier while on holiday as everything was to hand and in good condition. Good internet was also a bonus to do research into day trips, you could probably do a working holiday too if you wanted to (you don't). Place was really clean. Beds and sofas were really comfy and it's in the right place as a base to go and visit...well...anywhere really. Its an hour and a bit to get to Dover by car and you can't get much further without getting your feet wet. Also 5 mins walk from the train station so you can hop on and do a tour of East Kent easily. Whitstable itself is a cross between independent shops and big multi's. There are 2, fantastic, independent coffee shops within a few minutes walk, but if you really want a costa, it's 10 minutes walk away in the center of town. You can get your beer from Sainsburys, or there is an independent store with local ales just down the road. You can get a fish supper from the Co-op, or you can go down the sea front and have it cooked almost fresh off the boat for you right then and there. Only 2 downsides, and I think this first one is known as every room had a (decent) fan, the place is HOT, especially the top room. The best airflow you could hope for was to open the back door and the Juliet window on the 1st floor. This meant that all the other doors had to be closed to stop them slamming. The other downside, and it's not really the properties fault, is getting your car in and out of Whitstable itself. Very narrow roads, but then the village is 400 years old. I'll probably be thin too by the time I get that old! That inconvenience is a small price to pay really. It is a very pleasant place to stay.

-
"An excellent holiday home which was very clean and beautifully fitted out with everything of the best quality."
It was well positioned with easy access to the High Street, the harbour, beach and the station. The parking space was another reason to love it. We couldn't fault it!
-
"As discussed we really enjoyed our stay, thanks for letting us enjoy your house."
Location to the town is great, with parking a real benefit. As discussed personally we would have preferred curtains or blinds in the bedrooms but realise that’s not to everyone’s taste. We would definately recommend this to others as a place to stay within Whitstable
-
"Excellent property centrally located."
Very well maintained with everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery cutlery and good quality pans a real plus. Comfortable beds and good quality linen and towels. Overall an excellent house. Thank you.
-
"A warm, comfortable and well equipped house."
The house is centrally located just a few minutes walk from Whitstable’s shops, pubs and restaurants and has the bonus of a parking space. Would definitely recommend.
-
"A very well presented, clean and comfortable property, conveniently located for Whitstable town and seafront."
Well equipped with good quality fixtures and fittings. Thoughtful welcome pack and essentials, such as dishwasher tablets. A good base for exploring Kent.
-
"We had a wonderful weekend at Fisherman's Wharf, wonderful welcome package and immaculately clean."
Beds were super comfy and, rarely, the sofas were large enough to accommodate us all comfortably and were very comfortable! The location was perfect, just a few mins walk from the sea and a 20 min drive to Canterbury. Thank you to the owner whose communication and helpfulness was wonderful. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.
-
"Great house, really clean and comfortable and only a short walk from the town, definitely will stay again."
One negative there is no shower screen in the upstairs bathroom much easier to use if there was one
-
"Lovely house in a great location."
All the rooms are tastefully furnished and are very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with equipment, cutlery and crockery. Location is great for walking access to Whitstable town centre, the harbour and the beach, and for driving access to surrounding towns like Canterbury and Margate. We really enjoyed our stay.
-
"A really nice house, lovely fixtures etc."
Very tasteful and convenient for all amenities. Highly rated in our opinion.
-
"A spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable town house near to all amenities in Whitstable."
Comfortable beds and lovely crisp John Lewis linen. Plenty of good quality saucepans etc. also nice crockery and glassware. The patio is a sun trap with furniture and umbrella provided.
-
"This was our second visit so that probably says all that needs to be said."
The property itself is excellent and convenient for the harbour area, town and restaurants and for a busy place like Whitstable also has the major benefit of car parking. We'd certainly return for a third visit.
-
"The property was spotlessly clean and it is full of John Lewis loveliness."
It is well positioned for the thriving High Street, harbour and beaches. The whole family enjoyed their stay. Thank you
-

-
"A beautiful holiday home within easy walking distance of harbour, beach and shops."
Spacious rooms and a suntrap courtyard garden added to the holiday experience. The welcome box of goodies supplied a real flavour of the area.
-
"We liked: Immaculately clean."
Jacuzzi bath and good shower (drain will need attention soon). Nice jumbo towels, good bedding with clip-together duvets for different seasons. Bring your own beach towels. Well-equipped kitchen (we only missed a salad spinner!) Nice seaside themed paintings Parking on-site for one and nearby on-street parking Easy ten minute walk to the sea Kiddies park and shop nearby Welcome gifts, thank you We didn’t like: The house is in Westmeads Road not Diamond Road, as given Blinds give privacy but don’t block out light in top front bedroom - we had portable black-out with us Clearly stated in details but no bathroom on top floor we found was a nuisance for nighttime for us Thought there might have been beach supplies in the shed: buckets, spades, would have been welcomed Pull-out washing line would be helpful in the garden - the rack blows over in the wind Kiddies step-stools to reach basins would have been very useful
-
"Nice accommodation, handy for the town centre."
-
"Excellent property."
Situated only 5 -10 minutes walk from harbour and shops. Great to have a parking space. Furnished to a v high standard. Could not fault it and would stay again.
-
"Really lovely holiday cottage."
Great location for Whitstable with lots to do. Near lots of restaurants, pubs and cafes. Very close to the station if you need it. Cottage itself is of a very high standard with quality fixtures and fittings. All the home comforts are there. Beds and sofas comfy. Some treats left for us for our arrival. There was a maintenance problem when we arrived but the owners quickly resolved it and followed up to check all was well. Would definitely recommend and may visit again.
-
"What a lovely house, really enjoyed our stay here."
The owner was really helpful and any problems were quickly resolved. There was parking outside the front of the property also. Be prepared for lots of exercise going up and down stairs, it was good practise for my Husband getting used to stairs again after suffering a Stroke a while ago, they certainly gave him his confidence back. Highly recommend this house, close to Harbour and shops.
-
"Fabulous accommodation."
All our needs were catered for. Great holiday home. We will be back!
-
"Superb!"
-

-
"Lovely place to stay near to shops and beach."
Beds comfortable. Clean and everything we needed provided.
-
"Really good communication direct with the owner which we liked."
Ideally located for short walks into the town / harbour / Tankerton which was great. One small suggestion would be a radio/Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen.
-
"A beautiful holiday cottage perfect for a family stay in the heart of Whitstable!"
We had a wonderful week - thank you :) The property had great bathrooms and enough space for us all to relax and recharge. It was a winter break and the house was warm and cosy always. It’s near a small park and the railway station which was also very useful. I have recommended this property to friends!
-
"Beautiful house and great location."
Nice and warm too!
-
"Beautiful house, exceptional clean."
Good location to the beach, around 10min walk. We went for Christmas, and the owner had put up a lovely tree, and left a welcome pack with Christmas crackers. We would most certainly recommend.
-

Great location for easy access in to Whitstable by foot, close to Harbour area and Railway station.
-
"What a beautiful little holiday cottage."
We had some lovely messages from the owners and it was really nice to meet them when we arrived. The house has everyone you could want for a restful holiday and is the perfect location for exploring whitstable on foot. Thank you for making our first post lockdown holiday so wonderful.
-
"This is a lovely property, well equipped and very convenient for the harbour, beaches, shops and restaurants."
We very much hope to return in the future
-
"A lovely spotlessly clean house with everything we needed for our week long stay."
There is a convenient off road parking bay at the front of the house and a small enclosed courtyard at the back where we were able to store our bikes and enjoy our afternoon tea making use of the patio table and chairs. The property is perfectly situated for the town centre, harbour, and sea front. It is also close to the railway station from where there is a frequent service to other towns along the coast and beyond. There is also a frequent bus service to Canterbury although we enjoyed biking there down the traffic free "Crab & Winkle Way ". Whitstable is a lovely typically English seaside town and we can definitely recommend this property for anybody wishing to stay there, although the less mobile should be aware it is spread over 3 storeys.
-
"We have just returned from a fabulous family holiday in Whitstable."
4 Fisherman’s Wharf is a super base for exploring Kent and is only a 5 minute walk from Whitstable harbour and town centre. Whitstable has plenty of great places to eat and quirky shops & stalls along the harbour. The property is well maintained, furnished to a high standard, modern and clean, with more than enough room for our party of 6. The beds were really comfy too! The owner was really helpful, both prior and during our stay, checking in midway to see whether everything was ok. There was also a bonus welcome pack when we arrived.
-
"Well equipped home, exceptionally clean."
Good communication.
-
"A superbly finished and furnished property oozing style class and functionality."
Plenty of room for us four adults and two young grandchildren. Good parking a bonus. Well placed inear the harbour in wonderful Whitstable. We have already booked for next year.
-
"Stunning property."
Spacious with good location for local shop and 10 minute walk to Harbour area. Good car parking for two cars and sometimes room in road. Rail station 5 minutes away on foot, brilliant. Superb area for visiting Kent.
-
"A bright and modern Town House with only a 5 minute walk to the harbour."
The house was very clean. The owners were very easy to communicate with and friendly. They kindly left fans in the bedrooms before our arrival as the weather was hot, but we did still find the house rather too warm at night for us. The house is also on quite a busy road, especially at the weekend. Whitstable is a great place to visit, fabulous food and shops.
-
"What a great house did not matter the weather was not to good as being in the house was a pleasure."
-
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it."

About the location
WHITSTABLE
Herne Bay 5 miles; Canterbury 7 miles.
The lively town of Whitstable, which is known as the “Pearl of Kent”, dates back to before the Domesday Book. Its seaside location makes it ideal for watersports all year round, and its fishing heritage is reflected by the Oyster Festival, which takes place every July. The buzzing local museum/art gallery introduces around six new exhibitions each year, and has a fabulous coffee shop. Whitstable Castle dates back to the 1790’s, and hosts events all year round including a big May Day celebration with contributions from local musicians and artists. The town is home to a small, independent brewery, and any need for retail therapy will easily be satisfied by the range of both national stores and charming small, independent shops. Whitstable is also home to The Pearsons Arm, a gastropub owner by celebrity chef Richard Phillips and nearby in Seasalter is the Michelin star-awarded gastropub, The Sportsman which is also well worth a visit. The city of Canterbury, with its fine 6th century cathedral is just 7 miles away; also nearby is Herne Bay, from where on a clear day you can see as far as Southend and the Isle of Sheppey.
Note: No stag/hen parties, or similar.
