"Absolutely beautiful cottage with stunning views that changed daily."
The cottage is designed to showcase the views and natural light.The cottage is decorated to a high level, everything has been provided for you whether you want to cook a 3 course meal or have a takeaway on your lap.
The hosts are so friendly and welcoming, as are their animals. Harry the cat came for cuddles and dreamies every night, he even brought his shy brother along for a fuss and treats.
We had an amazing stay, it's perfect located to visit so many places, a week there wasn't long enough, we definitely did not want to leave.

"What amazing hosts Natalie and John are!"
We were made so welcome! The dogs, chickens and cats were a constant source of entertainment. Loved the sheep and cattle passing by as this working farm went about its usual business.
A highlight for me was going to close the bedroom window - Stable Cottage is an upside down house - to find some curious cows looking in the window at me

"This was our third holiday at the cottages."
We always have such a lovely chilled out week whatever the weather. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need for your travels.The accommodation is absolutely perfect.
The garden is a real bonas and is a hit with children of all ages.
We are already planning our next trip in the future.
The location is great for trips to Keswick and walks galore.
It is a great place to make lots of memories.

"A perfect getaway, peaceful and relaxing."
As you walk into the cottage it's like a home from home, you won't want to leave, we didn't. A lovely welcome from Natalie. We didn't need to have brought anything as the cottage was so well equipped, including the spacious bathroom with the superb jacuzzi bath. Put a film on the TV and cosy up in front of the log fire. How Natalie and John manage to run a working farm and keep the cottages immaculate is a testament to their hard work. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Natalie and John. We shall return.

"I feel absolutely awful it's take my so long to review, I lost access to my account."
We've stayed at the lakes a few times now and this by far was the best.
Everything about this place is just perfect. We cannot wait to come back this year.
John and Natalie were so welcoming as was their beautiful dog .... My boys keep asking when we are going back...

"We loved our stay at the Stable cottage, everything was provided for and the house was really well equipped, lovely and warm too."
The house was perfect sized and safe for our 1 and 3 year old children. The whole stay was effortless for the week and we had a great time. Location wise it was a great base for the surrounding area, as long as you can drive.

"Delightful cottage with lovely views."
The 3 cottages (barn conversion) are on a working farm run by a lovely couple (Natalie and John) so there is some working noise (tractors etc) but that all adds to the general experience.
We had a great time and would go back for another break.

"We really enjoyed our stay."
The accommodation is a beautiful barn conversion that's been very thoughtfully done and the kitchen was very well equipped. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly and the location was quiet and rural, on a working farm, with lovely views. The only thing to bear in mind is it's nearly an hour's drive down to Windermere/Ambleside, so if you're planning to do lots of stuff down there, you need to factor that in.

"The owners of the cottage were really friendly and helpful."
It was toddler friendly and our little one was allowed to watch the cows being fed carrots up close, which was a nice touch. It was a great location and quiet enough to let our toddler wander about safely. We all really loved it!

"The accommodation was very good and located in a beautiful part of the country with easy access by car to the more popular areas of the Lake District."
Unfortunately the main double bed was very uncomfortable and really needs a new quality mattress. We had to leave a day early as the current mattress was causing my wife discomfort and an inability to sleep.
Everything else in the cottage was good and we would not hesitate to recommend to others.
It would have been nice however if the owner (who lived nearby in the farm) had taken the trouble to make a personal appearance to at least check we were happy,

Was a hunny moon for me and my new wife was just everything we want peace and quiet for a short break. Came back very relaxed. Would book again and will soon. Wish we had gone for longer but could due to work commitments. 5 stars will be back soon.
