  • "Better directions from Sykes required to reach free onsite parking."

    Sykes directions leave you in a public car park and it's a mile detour around town centre and one way system to get to front door of apartment.

  • "Location great, although not the best access for parking."

    Clean & comfortable. Lack of bedroom storage areas. En-suite shelf was loose and not very stable.

  • "Overall, we enjoyed our holiday in Apartment 1 Latrigg - the location of the apartment is very central and it was comfortable, warm and generally well equipped."

    However, one of the rings (front right) on the hob didn't work properly. Our main issue was the door code keypad which was very stiff and temperamental - it often took me several attempts to get it to work and my Mum was unable to get it to work at all which meant she couldn't leave the apartment on her own. We reported this to the property owner 4 times during our stay (and also reported it to Sykes) but nothing was done to fix it.

  • "Lovely cosy apartment very close to all the shop & pubs."

    Beds very comfortable, wet room fantastic and en-suite great too! Parking space for 1 vehicle is a bonus. Reading the reviews of people finding the apartment difficult to find made me a little anxious, but 48hrs before we were due to go I got an email with very clear directions and a map! As stated in previous reviews, there isn't anywhere to put your muddy boots after a days walk. This definately needs addressing!! Kitchen great apart from a few things,...bottom oven didn't work, NO corkscrew or bottle opener, NO measuring jug, needs a pair of oven gloves (usually all these are provided for in every apartment I've stayed in) Putting aside these few minor things, I would definatley book this apartment again!

  • "Property is well hidden away but at the centre of most things."

    Parking was insufficient with 1 space for a 2 double bedroom apartment so effectively 2 car loads staying. Some sort of permit to park in the car park next door would of been appreciated instead of spending over £40 for our short stay. And no returned call when I rang to discuss this. TV kept losing single which was also annoying. Other than that, a nice place to visit.

    there is no name or number on the apartment. It is extremely well done but lacking coat hooks. Other than that we had a lovely stay.

  • "The property was not that easy to find."

    The sat nav took us to Keswick Lake road apartments. The office was closed and there was no indication that this was where Lattrig apartments were. Eventually a taxi driver sorted us out !! The apartment itself looked very nice on arrival. The open plan living area was a bit small but the bedrooms were nice. In the description on Sykes it said there is front and side patios with furniture ( one of the main reasons we booked this apartment ) but there was no patio furniture and with it being a very sunny week we were very disappointed. The shower room looked great but if you ran the shower for more than 5 minutes the room flooded and took ages to dry. Only half the oven hob worked too. We have stayed in the Lakes on many occasions and for the money we paid for this apartment ( £1121 which was reduced to around £800 the very next day but we still had to pay the £1121!!!) we think that £800 was still on the high side.

    very missleading the couple above us had the same problem allocated parking not very good no sign to say were to park at the back were the apartment was was like a building site for what we payed I would of expected better ??
