  • "The steps need to be more of a slop for people with a disability"

Thank you for your feedback, it is much appreciated and fully taken onboard. We are planning to replace the decking and steps to the property during the winter months. We really hope to welcome you again to stay with us in the future. Warm Regards, The Owners Property Owner

  • "This lodge is situated in a fabulous place and the view is spectacular."

The contents and amenities of the lodge were possibly the best I've encountered, with even steamers being supplied - a rare thing in my experience. It took me a while to come to grips with the electric hob as I hadn't experienced that before but I soon got on top of it. The lodge is suited to anyone who might just require a place to lay their head or, like me, have a peaceful rest in comfy quarters. I love the place as did my other guests.

  • "We had a lovely holiday at Hayeswater Lodge."

It is very well equipped and comfortable and the views are absolutely stunning. The only downside was the fact that we lost the wi-fi after the first day - a member of our party had stayed here earlier in the year and reported the self-same problem - it has obviously not been resolved. We hope to return - it is a brilliant base for a walking holiday and Keswick is a very easy walk away.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback and we are so pleased you enjoyed your time at Hayeswater Lodge. We can only agree, the views are stunning! We have had problems with the internet that we thought we had resolved, so we can only apologise for the problem you had. We are actively trying to resolve this, so hopefully all will be sorted when you return. Thanks again. Property Owner

  • "We enjoyed our stay here, beautiful views."

Kitchen and bedrooms provided everything you needed. Tv needs updating, limited channels and you cannot cast from your phone as tv is not connected to the wifi. It would have been good to have atleast a dust pan and brush to clean bits up. Both bathrooms needed to be cleaned when we arrived as they were a bit dusty and hairs in sink and shower.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that overall you enjoyed your stay at Hayeswater Lodge. We agree, it is a lovely place to spend some time. The TV is a Sony smart TV, but due to planning requirements of the park we have to use the Park communal aerial system. It shows all the many channels that are available to us. It was linked to the wifi, we can only assume our router problems have dropped it out and we will re connect, apologies for the inconvenience. A wide range of cleaning items are provided, including vaccum stored in wardrobe and dustpan under the kitchen sink. We have passed your comments on to housekeeping, but considering our other feedbacks regarding cleanliness we were surprised. Property Owner

  • "What a superb Log Cabin."

We really did enjoy our stay, in something so comfortable and clean. This contributed brilliantly, to the best two weeks we’ve ever had in The Lakes. It’s nice after seeing landscapes, wildlife, fighter jets, and the aurora, to be able to come back to this wonderful place. I’d like to take this opportunity, to thank the owners, for allowing to stay in such a fantastic property. It’s hugely respected, and appreciated, the time and effort that must go into providing these. A huge thankyou again, for such a great stay at Hayeswater. It was brilliant! Best regards. Daz, Lisa, and Lynn.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Hayeswater Lodge. Comments like this make all the work worthwhile. Hopefully we can welcome you back again in the future. Property Owner

The view from the lodge looked good from the photos and certainly didn’t disappoint even when the weather wasn’t ideal. The suggested walk up Latrigg was well worth the effort for the amazing panoramic views. The location is peaceful with an easy walk into Keswick town centre.

Thank you for your feedback, we are glad you enjoyed Hayeswater Lodge. We have to agree, the views are special! Property Owner
