  • "We were very pleased with the property and views at the back."

It was very clean and a lovely bungalow. We had a problem with parking our cars due to the extensive building work with the house at the end of the road, next door. Not a problem that could be resolved ⁰

It was great to find somewhere with parking in Keswick and the views from the house and especially the patio are wonderful. The area is very peaceful and it was just a short walk into the town centre (around 10 minutes). We were able to do lots of hikes from the property and didn't use the car all week. We'd certainly stay again.

So pleased you have enjoyed your holiday and found the home convenient and able to enjoy hikes from it as well as the views from the back of the property. We would certainly welcome your return again and thank you for your review. Property Owner

  • "This holiday cottage is very good."

Excellent location to walk into town or to fruve/ walk to experience other fabulous views of the lakes. Great for walking. Cleanliness excellent. Caters for all you might need. Excellent central heating kept us warm and cosy during a very rainy week. Good parking facilities. Very quiet road (cul de sac) in fact everything points to awarding it 5 stars. It would get 5 stars if the beds were not so uncomfortable. I think new mattresses are needed at the very least. I vowed last year I would not go back ( solely because of the beds) However I caved in and went again. Mattress toppers have made it better. I was relieved. I will go back again.

Pleased you enjoyed your holiday in the cottage this year despite poor weather and would be pleased if you decide to return. Property Owner

  • "We were extremely happy with the holiday property and appreciated the cleanliness of every room."

The personal card and welcome pack were lovely. Proximity to central Keswick was an easy walk for us but all uphill on the way back for those less able. I missed a dishwasher, but washing up looking at the spectacular views over Keswick to the fells was no hardship! We brought all our recycling home with us as we couldn't find a recycling bin at the property, only a black bin. All in all, we would recommend this property to anyone for a holiday in the Lakes.

Thank you for your positive response to your holiday in the bungalow and agree the view at the back of the bungalow make washing up less of a chore! Thank you for taking your recycling home. Property Owner

It is a warm, cosy comfortable holiday let. It was so quiet. The view from the kitchen is gorgeous and every morning I would have my coffee looking out of the window. It is very homely due to the decoration and furnishings. We spent a few evenings in just watching telly because we felt just so comfortable in the property. Everything we needed was provided including tin foil , pizza cutter, hairdryer etc ....We felt as if we could live there permanently. I highly recommend staying in this holiday let xx

  • "We'd stayed in Manesty view before, but in a different property, so we new we were in a great location."

The cottage on first impression, was excellent, well equipped, decent kitchen ware & utensils, an issue in some properties, but not here. The cottage is well maintained & clean, although, I should mention, the faucet on the kitchen sink kept coming loose, I tightened it several times, but only finger tight as there was no tool to tighten it properly, other than this, there were no issues. The view across to the northwestern fells & toward Skiddaw/Latrigg, is fantastic, especially from the lovely patio, (amazing garden). With easy access to Keswick town centre & it's excellent resraurants & shops, we couldn't be in a better location. We've stayed in many holiday cottages over many years, 99.5% of their owners provide a welcome pack, ie, pint of milk in the fridge, small loaf of bread, bottle of wine, etc, it's a nice touch to holiday renters initial welcome, this, of course is just a suggestion.
