  • "Third time using this cottage, we especially love the great location."

It has lovely big bedrooms and a big family bathroom. Beds are always a personal choice and we found the very comfy. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need for your stay although there’s a couple of things that would improve it. 1 You only get one set of door keys but because it’s a cottage that can house 4, a second front door key would be useful. 2, on previous visits ( under another letting agent) the car park permit was for the nearby central car park, it’s now a permit for the convention centre which is quite a walk. No sure why the change but reverting to the original permit would be helpful.

Thank you for your feedback. We recommend using the key safe provided with the property as this ensures that guests can access the front door independently of each other. The owner will be able to see your comments and can look into the parking permit options where possible. We are glad that you enjoyed your holiday and all the area has to offer. Lakelovers Owner Team Thanks for your thoughtful suggestions. We will happily trial having second set of keys in the box. I’m slightly anxious that folk might inadvertently go off with the second set but happy to give it a try. The car parking arrangements were changed because in high season times the council car parks can be full. There is no guarantee of a space there but with the convention centre there is a guarantee of space 365 days of the year and they have EV charging stations as a secondary advantage. I hopes that explains the change. Owner Property Owner

  • "Our second stay at Raphael's Cottage and it was as good as we remembered!"

Our son loved the selection of toys and books for kids and they were great rainy day entertainment. Top marks to the owners who remembered we had been before and added our car registration to the parking permit after I forgot to contact them to do this before the day of arrival. We can't wait to return for another stay! Highly recommended!

Many thanks for your positive review. We look forward to your next visit. Property Owner
