"Excellent location overlooking Fitz park."
Parking is a bit tight so I would recommend a small car. Very near the centre of Keswick so handy for restaurants and pubs.

"As regular visitors over a number of years we noticed and appreciated the improvements that have been made to the apartment such as the curtains in place of blinds, new sofa and lights and also the touches such as the welcome tray of goodies!"
it remains very comfortable accommodation in a great location We will be back (Personally I found the cane chair in the bedroom a nuisance as it is so big)
-
"Very clean and comfortable."
Would strongly recommend.Had a very good week over Christmas .
-
"Everything was great, Apartment, location, Keswick, second time here."
-
"We have been to various apartments at Riverside Park and are never disappointed."
Beautifully decorated and a fabulous view over the river, park and mountains beyond. We will be back soon hopefully.
-
"A very comfortable apartment providing excellent facilities with a good location for a holiday in the Lake District."
-
"This property is the best we have stayed in."
Everything we needed was close by ( shops, lake, public transport ) As we don't have a car this was a bonus. The property was pure luxury throughout, and we absolutely loved being able to see the river from the windows and sit and watch it from the balcony with the park beyond. We would recommend this property to everyone who wants an amazing relaxing holiday. Thank you so much. Marian and Tracy

"Its a fab place to stay in Keswick and parking"

"We have visited numerous times since the Riverside Park conception and been 100% satisfied."
However. visiting this time following installation of new furnishings, we found the bed to be rock hard offering no comfort or cushioning whatsoever. This resulted in a lack of sleep for a week! The style of the bed meant that you had to physically lift the heavy matress up in order to tuck in the flat bottom sheet. Not only was this very difficult but quite a strain on the back. A stupid and quite dangerous thing to do for a for a 77 and 75 year old. Consequently we were lying in creased sheets to boot. I defy the owner to try making the bed themselves. It may be the modern bed style but I wonder if health and safety were taken into consideration. Sadly I will not return again.

"Mattress on the bed (especially the bedroom overlooking the river) was extremely hard and gave my husband a sore back!"
-
"This is a lovely apartment, tastefully furnished plenty of crockery etc."
Comfortable beds lovely towels bedding. You can see River Greta from the back of the apartment. Lovely views from the front of apartment, Close to town.
-
"A really nice Holiday apartment which had everything we needed."
Lovely view over the river Gretta and over Fitz Park. Will definitely be looking to book the apartment again soon.
-
"We are repeat guests at this apartment."
The location is superb overlooking Fitz Park and the River Greta. To our surprise, these apartments have had a makeover with new curtains, blinds, and have been decorated. An already very pleasant apartment really has been transformed. Needless to say we will be returning.
Thank you for your kind feedback, we are so glad that you like the makeover. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Property Owner

"This is a really excellent property - very difficult to find fault!"
It's situation over the river for views and proximity to shops is a big plus! Have stayed many times and hopefully many more to come! Roll on autumn!!
Thank you so much for this feedback! We are really glad you enjoyed staying at the property and look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Property Owner
-
"An excellent well-placed flat."
It is possible, as we have found before at this property, to spend the entire week without needing to use the car. All walking, shopping and eating out is easily available from the door. The flat has recently been redecorated and all fixtures and fittings are of good standard and in good order. All in all hard to beat for a lake district week away!

"We had an issue with the central heating on the first night."
We had to call Marie who advised us to increase the thermostat target temperature. This did not work but we were able to diagnose the fault ourselves as the central heating control on the boiler itself (dial control) had been turned down to zero. We did have 4 very cold hours up until this point, otherwise all was perfect.

"We have used Riverside Park several times and love the location and the layout of the properties."
There is everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Our one adverse comment is that we found the beds rather hard. That’s a matter of taste. We reported a couple of minor issues which were dealt with straight away.
-
"No complaints - another wonderful stay at this apartment!"
-
"It was really lovely, we appreciated the welcome basket."
We are already thinking about re-booking for February.
-
"Excellently fitted out property."
-
"Lovely relaxing week at Riverside 4."
Brilliant location in Keswick and thoughtfully furnished throughout. Could have done with some instructions for the coffee machine and the oven. Fridge door needs attention as it doesn’t close properly if the door is used to store food/drinks. However we would book this apartment again.

"We had stayed in this property several years ago and we think that it now looks tired and in need of some attention."
Operating the oven and the microwave was not straightforward and the TV was very challenging. There were numerous manuals on site but not for the current oven. Even then, none of the manuals were simple to interpret. The plug in the basin in the en suite would not close and the blinds in the main room could not be raised completely. Consequently our view of the river was always obscured. Put bluntly, the blinds are broken.

"The apartment is in a great location."
Will definitely be returning
-
"Spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious."
Excellent location adjacent to river/park. Quiet area but only 5 mins. to town centre. Only negative would be lack of drawer space in bedrooms, otherwise perfect apartment. We had an issue with non working washer/dryer but ended up being satisfactorily resolved. As usual, excellent service from Heart of the Lakes office staff. Thank you
-
"Good location, nice views, clean and tidy."
Heating too hot and only one parking space. A pity there were no coffee pods. Couldnt buy them locally.
-
"We have stayed in RP4 many times and love the property and location."
It was slightly noticeable this time that it wasn't quite up to previous standards in terms of some minor housekeeping issues. Fortunately the local Heart of the Lakes office were excellent in rectifying things promptly and I am sure we will be booking our next visit here soon
-
"Excellent property but as we have said before about these flats, it would benefit from somewhere to hang wet coats and put boots."
In addition, the facilities could usefully mention the presence of the Nespresso. Finding it on arrival was too late to get capsules locally
-
"Lovely views from the property and pleased to see new carpets have been installed in the bedrooms."
However a few issues regarding the maintenance of the fixtures and fittings. The blinds in the kitchen do not have a tilt option, the ensuite toilet continually dripped, the ensuite shower unit heavily leaked from the unit which affected the flow, neither of the bathroom sink plugs could be left in the open position to drain, one of the lights in the main bathroom mirror was out and finally the toilet flush in the main bathroom kept falling apart and came away from the fitting. Don't get me wrong....it's a beautiful apartment, but if you charge top prices, as Sykes now do, you expect perfection. We would definately return as the location is superb, but we have definately noticed a drop in standards since ownership/management/agent have changed. We mention the above to hopefully improve the guest experience for everyone. The previous owner had someone go round the property checking all of the above, in all of the apartments, before each set of guests. This clearly doesn't happen now. Hope the above helps.
