• "We had a great holiday in our favourite place!"

  Lovely cottage, very cosy and great location. One downfall, no cleaning products provided at all other than some washing up liquid. We had to go out and buy cleaning products for the kitchen and bathroom, these have always been provided in all the other cottages we have stayed in. There was a welcome pack - nice wine - thank you - however the milk was all out of date. Great cottage, great location just a shame let down by a few issues that could simply be avoided. One thing that the cottage would benefit from is a hairdryer! Would definitely stay again!

  Thank you for the feedback, I do intend to supply a hairdryer and some cleaning products on my next visit to the cottage so hopefully these issues won’t be a problem if you visit again. • "We absolutely loved our stay."

  The cottage was cosy, welcoming and warm, as well as being clean and tidy. The bottle of wine was a nice touch; thank you! The location was fabulous for exploring the town and lake, and close to Dodd Wood, which was so pretty and peaceful. We would definitely return and recommend it to others.

• "A beautiful cosy cottage very close to all amenities and very well decorated and very comfortable."

  The dog bath and boot room were a godsend when we were there as it was very wet. The only thing that disappointed us was the lack of cleaning products in the kitchen. So for our very short stay we had to buy washing up liquid, cleaning spray, toilet roll etc. This surprised us as we have never had to do this in any rental. But apart from that it was perfect. Thank you

  I’m pleased you liked the decoration and found the cottage comfortable for your stay. I can only apologise for the lack of washing up liquid and toilet rolls at the time of your visit. I have a cleaner who carries out the changeovers and these should have been provided, I have taken this up with the cleaner and hopefully if you decide to visit again you will have these provided. • "Lovely accommodation in super location."

  Exactly as shown in the pictures, everything you needed for your stay was there. Given we went at the beginning of December, the Christmas decorations made it feel even more special. Would love to visit again but looking at dates, this beautiful cottage looks to be in very high demand. Thank you so much.

• "Had a lovely week here, cottage was well equipped and spotlessly clean."

  It’s right in the centre of Keswick but so quiet and peaceful. Left a ring there by accident and the owner was really helpful in getting it sent it back to me. Thank you Gill, we will be back!

• "Lovely cottage, a stones throw from the centre but also on a quiet road with little noise."

  The cottage itself if well equipped and the dog bath downstairs was great! The bed was unbelievably comfortable which was a blessing for sore muscles! A tumble dryer would be great as we had to use the radiators for drying even though it was mildish outside but this isn’t a major issue. Overall a lovely cottage perfect for a couple and our 2 Dachshunds loved it also. We’re going to visit again!

I agree a washer/dryer would be good but a free washing machine came with the kitchen and as you are aware there is limited space in the cottage for an additional dryer. When the washer needs replacing this could be replaced with a washer/dryer but for now apologies if this was an inconvenience for you. • "The cottage was superb, very cosy and dog friendly."

  The location was ideal for both walking into the hills and around town. The only setback was the lack of parking next to the cottage. Apart from this, we had an amazing time and would fully recommend.

  Thank you for providing a review but I’m sorry to lose my 5* rating. Due to the central location of the cottage there is no parking at the cottage. I do pay for an annual parking permit in the Central and Lakside car parks 5-10 minutes walk away to allow guests to park free of charge which is normally £12.20 for 24 hours. Once parked all facilities are within a few minutes walk from the cottage. Overall I’m pleased you found the cottage cosy and would recommend a stay at Style Cottage. • "Style Cottage is beautiful throughout, tastefully decorated and was very clean."

  Felt so homely! Comfortable bed and an amazing shower. perfect location for us as we love Keswick and the surrounding areas, near to a bus stop so didn't use the car all week, and plenty of beautiful walks from the doorstep. Loved that is was so close to the town centre and Derwentwater but tucked away in the nice and quiet. Can't wait to return.....thank you!

• "We had a wonderful time at your beautiful cottage."

  Its was so warm and comfortable. Excellently located close to Keswick centre with easy parking. We will definitely look to come back again. One slight mix up/issue. On the day of leaving the cleaners arrived at 10am however the email details we had from Sykes said to leave by 11am. We were nearly all packed and then we were about to give the place a clean ourselves, but couldn't. There seems to be a miscommunication somewhere if the emails from Sykes are saying to leave at 11am but cleaner's are arriving at 10am.

  I’m so pleased you enjoyed your stay and found the cottage comfortable and warm. Apologies for the mix up with the cleaner. Initially it was 11am but due to the cleaning schedule it changed to 10am in line with most changeovers. This has now changed on Sykes website but your initial booking must have stated 11am. • "A beautiful cottage very close to Keswick but peaceful backwater."

  Beautifully fitted . Everything you could need and more ! Comfy bed, lovely bedding , lovely bathroom with shower and bath. Large tv in sitting room and bedroom . Pretty sitting room with wood burner. The basement even has a dog washing unit and washing machine . Can’t wait to return x

• "Me, my husband and my 2 dogs had the immense pleasure of being the first people to stay in Style Cottage."

  What a wonderful cottage it is and such a great week we had. The cottage had everything we needed and was so cosy. I absolutely loved the decor, so beautifully presented and the stone wall from top to bottom was so rustic and perfectly suited to the cottage. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful with a great shower and bath. The muddy paws and boots room was a brilliant idea, particularly the huge metal dog shower unit. We could properly clean our dogs before entering the main house. The garden was also lovely and great for the dogs. I can't praise this beautiful home from home enough and we will most definitely be booking again
