Lovely and cosy and so peaceful. would definitely stay there again. The cottage is 5 minutes from town centre of keswick, but on a quiet road. Highly recommended.

Beautifully fitted . Everything you could need and more ! Comfy bed, lovely bedding , lovely bathroom with shower and bath. Large tv in sitting room and bedroom . Pretty sitting room with wood burner. The basement even has a dog washing unit and washing machine . Can’t wait to return x

What a wonderful cottage it is and such a great week we had. The cottage had everything we needed and was so cosy. I absolutely loved the decor, so beautifully presented and the stone wall from top to bottom was so rustic and perfectly suited to the cottage. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful with a great shower and bath. The muddy paws and boots room was a brilliant idea, particularly the huge metal dog shower unit. We could properly clean our dogs before entering the main house. The garden was also lovely and great for the dogs. I can't praise this beautiful home from home enough and we will most definitely be booking again

KESWICK
Bassenthwaite 7 miles, Ullswater 16.6 miles; Cockermouth 13 miles.
The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone.
