"Location is great!"
Having a parking space available is also very helpful, however I have a big car so was not able to fit through the two metal posts to get to the parking place. On the whole the apartment was clean but we did move the coffee table slightly and there was cheerios and mud underneath. The TV did not work at all - I understand it's not the be all and end all but we were staying four days and stayed in on a night to eat, no channels worked at all (admittedly we did not call the number given as did not class it as an emergency) but felt had to leave it in review for future bookings to come prepared. Beds and sofas are comfy, everything else we needed was there (we did have to buy more toilet roll- but that's minor)

"This was our 4th stay at the property which we love for it's location, however, we feel that it is starting to look shabby and the cleanliness of the apartment was poor."
Old dusty cobwebs on the kitchen walls and throughout, cobweb laden lampshades, mouldy grout around the bath, dirty scum lines in the toilet (clearly never seen any bleach for a long time!). A filthy pot brush with God knows what stuck to the bristles, which I threw away, toilet brushes that should be replaced on a regular basis, a dirty glass in the cupboard. There were also old dusty cobwebs been the curtains, i doubtbthe place has evervseen a clothband polish for months. To be honest, I didn't fancy using any if the crockery or cutlery with washing it. We first came in June 2021 and the place was spotless clearly standards of cleanliness appearI to have gone out of the window now covid is a distant memory, which is a shame because it is letting the property owner down. They could really do with updating the sofas, they are starting to look tired. We would love to stay here again next year but would hope that the levels of cleanliness will have improved.

"A fabulous place to stay in central Keswick."
Very comfortable bed ( very important!), lovely to have the little terrace for sunny mornings/ evenings. If there was one thing that would make this even better, for stays when days are short and evenings long, it would be a smart TV (with iplayer for example) We will come again, and knowing our way round next time, would probably leave the car in the parking space and take the buses . Keswick seemed the perfect base.
