"The property was amazing in a fantastic location."
Our toddler loved watching the sheep from all the windows! The kitchen was really well stocked with cooking apparatus and the lounge and beds were comfortable. We had a really lovely (but short!) stay!

"A lovely holiday home in a beautiful and secluded corner of Lakeland."
The house itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a fortnight's stay. We were also very lucky with the weather so got to sit out on the patio and admire the amazing view of Bowscale Fell.
There are plenty of walks from the door, or from Mungrisdale, which is a short drive away. Highly recommended. Many thanks to the owners for a wonderful stay.
Thank you for the wonderful feedback. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay.

"Absolutely lovely house in a gorgeous quiet stunning setting."
We loved our time here. We slept very well in the comfy bed. The property is well equipped and we were able to cook some meals. Would also recommend a trip to the Mill in a dog friendly pub down the road. We would also recommend a trip to the local pop up cafe in the summer months.
Really small points that didn't ruin our stay was the TV is very small (we used a laptop to watch anything online) and no hand soap (I know now not to expect this so would bring some next time).
Our little dog needed to stay on the lead when we let her out onto the grass by the driveway as she could have slipped under the gate to join the sheep!
The location is brilliant 15-20 mins drive to Keswick and Ullswater. They have local OS maps and suggested walks, we did the Bowscale Tarn one a worthwhile climb!
We enjoyed it so much that we would like to bring more people with us next time! Thank you for a lovely stay.
Thank you for lovely feedback and we are delighted to hear how much you enjoyed your stay. I am ordering more soaps and do apologise there was none there for you - please rest assured they will be there next time.

"The cottage was excellent, had everything (and more) needed for our short break in the Lakes and great central location for exploring."
My only recommendation to improve above a 10 out of 10 would be black out blinds/curtains in the bedrooms, we had very early starts with the children waking as soon as the light came up at approx 4am/5am
Thank you for your lovely feedback. I am delighted you enjoyed your stay. I am looking into black out window coverings. This sort of feedback is very helpful.

"Very nice cottage, remote location but nice walks from your doorstep, not too far from Keswick if you wish to pop in for a morning or afternoon."
All the facilities at the cottage are more than you need. The mattress in the travel cot is really firm so you may wish to take a mattress for your little one or a padded sheet.
Thank you for your lovely feedback and hope you will come back to Mosedale soon.

"A lovely cottage in a beautiful location."
We loved the walk up to Bowscale Tarn, and also climbed up to Carrock Fell straight from the cottage three times, following different routes each time. We found the mattress on the bed in the master bedroom not very comfortable, but the zip and link bed in the second bedroom was luckily much better. The cottage was quite cold when we arrived and no logs were provided, so I’d recommend to take a small supply of logs and kindling for the first evening. Once the storage heaters were warm by the second day it was very warm and we didn’t need to light the fire at all. The shower was lovely and the kitchen very well equipped. It was lovely to sit on the patio in the evening sunshine.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. The owner would like to apologise about the bed in the master bedroom. This was due to a loose bolt which has now been fixed, a topper has also been added for comfort. We are pleased you had a nice stay and we hope to welcome you back again soon!

"We enjoyed a fabulous week in this lovely cottage."
Mosedale is a lovely, quiet unspoilt corner of the lakes with an abundance of varied walking from the door. The car parking area is spacious and both front and rear garden are dog secure. We particularly enjoyed the Herdwick sheep being herded past the cottage each morning- a delight! We will return!

"This cottage is gorgeous- views of the fells from every window, really comfortable beds, all the essentials you need in the kitchen, really helpful maps and suggested walks."
...plenty that go right from the front door (Bowscale tarn- a must for wild swimming especially if the weather is hot- nice water temperature end of July for us), swimming pool in the river caldew, brrrrr!, Carrock fell etc etc) but travelling to other close bits e.g. Helvellyn, Ullswater, Keswick, Derwent water really easy too. Cannot recommend more strongly!
