The views are stunning and when we spoke with the owners they advised they are going to improve the garden area which will be a great addition to the property. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Beautiful walks right from your doorstep and very close to all amenities in Keswick too.

"Nest Barn was probably the best self catering we have stayed in."
It had everything we needed with the bonus of the courtyard and field for our dog which was great. So many places that cater for dogs do not have an enclosed place to let them out.
The views from the big picture window/door was fantastic and the distance from Keswick was good as away from the crowds, but easy to get there. Would definitely stay again!

The views and position of the cottage were superb with lots of room for our two dogs who stayed outside safely in the sun most of the time we were back at the cottage.
As it was our first time in the Lake District, we would have found it useful to have had a little bit more information about the various pubs and Hotels, for example what other people had thought of the food and service. (It took us all week to find the best pub for a meal)

The accommodation is clean, comfortable, well thought out and stocked with everything you might need including dog bowls. Location is a great base for access to the local area, choice of either a hike straight out of the front door or a quick drive to visit the picturesque local towns/villages. Access to secure fields to exercise the dog off lead was great too. Really enjoyed our stay, definitely recommend a visit. Thanks.

Dog friendly, gated outside and a private field for active dogs. Beautiful views, comfortable and relaxing, a great place to come home to after days exploring the areas around the lakes. Close to visit Wordsworth homes,Dove Cottage and Rydall Mount and for Lake Boat trips which we thoroughly enjoyed. Plenty of walks from the Barn including Castlerigg stone circle. We would stay againand recommend Nest Barn totally.

"Nest Barn was absolutely perfect and we loved our stay there."
It was so warm and cosy and well equipped. The views from the cottage are incredible and it was so relaxing to sit and eat looking out at the fells. The fields for our dog to run around it were great and it was lovely to be able to head out on walks straight from the door. I would love to go back Nest Barn again. The property has all the things you need for a self-catering holiday. It is also ideal for dogs as it has an enclosed courtyard and a paddock.
We have already booked our second holiday at Nest Barn.

Keswick is a lovely town and makes for a good location to reach some of the best long distance walks available
