  • "Plug sockets falling off walls, no access to the internet even with password given and when we turned up the draining board was full aswell as the dishwasher with pots."

No instructions or welcome pack or number to contact of where we were ment to leave rubbish and used bedding and towels or how to get access to the WiFi. The beds were extremely comfy though.

  • "We had a good holiday."

There was plenty of space for all of us. The local shop was very close and we liked the village. There were lots of places for us to walk the dogs, we enjoyed the surrounding area. The only thing I would have liked was a house book, which is normally available. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at sunny cote again

  • "The cottage has a lovely feel and has everything you need in it."

Communication was excellent. It’s a great space to take family and friends. We had 8 adults, 5 kids, a baby, two dog’s and had no issues with space. It’s in a fantastic location just a short walk from the beach and pub. Would highly recommend staying there and I’m sure we will be booking again.

Thanks Peter. I’m so glad you all had such a lovely time. I found your teddy bear so I’ll post it to you. Kindest regards Katherine Property Owner

Arnside is situated on the southernmost tip of the Lake District in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where low limestone hills, marshy plains and deciduous woodlands characterise the surrounding land. This former fishing port has retained many of the features from its past. The beautiful pier and port areas of the village offer stunning views across the Kent Estuary, as well as providing an enduring reminder of Arnside's illustrious history. To the south of the village are the 15th century Pele Towers, which were constructed to defend against the marauding Scots. The local surrounding area is a nature lover's paradise with stunning limestone pavements and wonderful woodland walks through countryside alive with rare plants, trees and wildlife. The internationally renowned Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve is also just one mile away. Guided walks across the Kent Estuary are available, showing the full splendour of the shore and surrounding area.
