  • "I have stayed in Time and Tide for 2 weeks and I really loved it."

It is very cosy and comfortable and all you need is available. The owners are very helpful in case there are questions. I highly recommend this apartment. Josephine The Netherlands

  • "Well situated with station across the road……I took full advantage and only went out in the car a couple of times."

Thought it smelt a bit fusty in entrance hall but that could have been the air freshener thing! Bit messy behind sofa when I plugged my charger in and some of the cutlery and crockery needed washing before use and the oven gloves were burnt and needed washing. However, nothing that would put me off recommend it, especially if you have a railcard!

  • "The cottage was well equipped with what you would have at home."

The bed was really cumfy. We could have done with more information as regarding the recycling especially glass ie bottles. We walked around half a mile to some large bins they were for paper, cardboard, plastic and cans but no bottles or glass. May i add our stay at Time & TIde was very relaxed and trouble free,we would definitely book again.Mr.William V.R.Ennett.

  • "We were delighted with Time and Tide and thoroughly enjoyed our week there."

Everything was as described in the listings, modern, bright, comfortable and warm. It was lovely to come back after a day ‘s walking to a relaxing home’. We met David (owner) who was keen to know if anything was needed, I suggested one item for the kitchen, it was supplied the next day! Service! We will certainly return in the not too distant future.

Thank you again Una for the way you left Time and Tide, it was lovely and no one would have known you had been there. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. From David Property Owner

  • "A very comfortable, clean and great location cottage!"

We stayed three nights and the short walk into the village was lovely with shops and places to eat. The scenery and skyline with distant mountains is wonderful! You would be hard pressed to find a more relaxing place with things to see and do. Unfortunately the trains were off due to a derailment, otherwise you can take a scenic trip along the coast to Grange-over-Sands or Ulverston and beyond.

Stuart, thank you for your kind remarks; it is always useful for us to learn that we seem to be doing the right things for our guests, and we are glad you enjoyed the unique charms of Arnside. I am sorry we never got to meet, but maybe the next time. You will be very welcome. From David. Property Owner
