Within a short drive you can reach the village of Hambleton; stock up on essentials at the convenience store, treat the group to a meal at The Shovels Inn or pick up fish and chips or a pizza takeaway; other amenities include a chemist, butchers, and pet shop.
The market town of Poulton is nearby and the coastal towns of Knott End and Thornton Cleveleys are slightly further but well worth a visit.
