"We had a lovely stay at Pennystone Road Cottage as a family with 2 teenagers and our Border Terrier in February half-term."
The cottage had everything we needed, was warm and cosy and had an enclosed garden. Ample parking and everything you could need inside. The location was perfect, a short tram ride into Blackpool or a good walk along the seafront. The views of the sea were lovely in the morning and there is busy street with cafes, bars and a supermarket around the corner. We had a brilliant stay.
Thankyou for your lovely review. I’m so pleased you had a brilliant stay

"A very comfortable house, with everything needed for a relaxed and enjoyable stay."
Excellent off-road parking. We fully used the kitchen and the appliances, cooking most evenings. The bedrooms were excellent, bright and well furnished with beautiful quality bedding. The house is perfectly located, very near the centre of Bispham, with it's facilities, transport links and walks along the cliffs. We loved every minute of our stay
So glad you enjoyed your stay. Thankyou for your feedback ☀️

"This is a gorgeous holiday home, very cosy and welcoming."
We arrived to see it beautifully decorated for Christmas! It's a lovely location on the sea front and handy for our favourite eating places in Bispham , five minutes walk away.
All in all we had a fabulous time and hope to be back very soon .
Thankyou xx

"Pros: A cozy house with some beautiful and quirky decorations."
Everything is finished to a high quality. Comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen. Great sea views from master bedroom. Will definitely visit again.
Cons: Stairs are shallow and not suitable for all. A stairgate at the top of the stairs would help with the feeling of vertigo everyone had when passing the gap at the top step to enter the bathroom. I have mobility issues, but managed the stairs by coming down backwards :-) The shower is over the bath, which is also quite high and tricky to get in an out of. I won't be taking any elderly relatives.
Thankyou x

"This is an amazing property, cosy, comfortable and beautifully decorated with fantastic sea views."
We had a bit of a tap issue on our first night and this was repaired within half an hour! Fantastic position in Bispham, near a tram stop making it easy to reach Blackpool centre but in a peaceful location. Lovely dog walks on beach/cliffs from front door, also dog friendly pub, The Highlands a short walk away and The Gynn at Gynn square a bit further along. We loved our short stay here and wish we had booked for longer, would not hesitate to return.
Thankyou for your lovely feedback

we must comment on the stairs."
they badly needed rails on the right hand

Thankyou , I will arrange a hand rail to be fitted, it’s a good comment. I have only been letting the house since April so I very much appreciate your feedback x

"Had a lovely stay was as described close to the beach and great public transport."
If you are looking for peace and quite remember the house is on a main road and the tram runs regularly.
This didn’t bother us as we used the tram every day,so easy to use and regular.
House was clean and well equipped although showing some signs of age .

"Fantastic little house, fresh, clean and smells wonderful (though I may now need to get a subscription to the cleaning products!"
).
The view of the sunset over the sea from master bedroom is wonderful, and the chaise longue is well positioned to do this. A real princess palace.
The narrow kitchen is surprisingly spacious and allowed us to cook some lovely meals, as well as takeaways and restaurants right on the doorstop.
Loved the front and back zen garden, lovely to chill out, though it would be good to have a storage box for the outdoor cushions as the fierce Irish Sea wind and rain made it hard to keep them from rolling onto the ground.
We would have no hesitation to stay again, Belinda was a wonderful hostess.
Thankyou , so glad you enjoyed your stay xxx

"Cottage is lovely very clean & comfortable, has everything needed for cooking & relaxing & lovely view ."
However the stairs up to bedrooms are so narrow I feel not safe for children or any adult unsteady on their feet . My daughter in Law injured her ankle coming downstairs on morning of our last day. Rectify stairs & it would be perfect
Thanks for your feedback and I’m glad you had a lovely stay.
Apologies for the stairs , I have informed Sykes to update the description as the stair tread is very narrow.

"The property was spacious, light and airy."
The decor was bright, vivid,
shiny and sparkly! There was a lovely garden at both the front and the back which was nice to sit out in. White crisp beautifully laundered cotton sheets on a comfortable bed. The evening sunsets from the front lounge and bedroom were stunning. Great location for transport, local shops and the beach. The welcome goodies were very much appreciated thank you. Belinda the property owner couldn't have made us more welcome. All in all a great week at number 12 thank you.

We stayed for a week exploring the local area including Cleveley's, Lytham, St Anne's and much more. The property itself has everything you could want with large rooms, front and back gardens and parking too. We would definitely recommend a stay at 12 Pennystone Road and would visit again.

"Wonderful little property just on the outskirts of Blackpool but only a short ride away on the tram."
The property is well equipped with all the things that you will need. The property was clean and was very happy to see a welcome hamper with some key essentials. The sea view from the front of the property is great for seeing the evening sunsets. The property is a stones throw from a Sainsbury's supermarket, Bispham tram stop, and a number of restaurants on the high street. So there is no need to travel into Blackpool to eat. A Beefeater is a 15 minute walk away. The owner is lovely and makes sure you're happy. Definitely will be back for a future visit.
Thankyou so much for everything ☀️☀️
