"Fantastic overall, one tiny problem please leave a note to help people find the cutlery draw in the kitchen upstairs"

"Stunning property."
Plenty of room for everyone so you aren't on top of each other. The down stairs area is perfect for older children to have their own space. Situated 5 mins out of town so perfect for walking there and back.
Thank you for taking the time to feed back. We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay and that you found the lay out of the house worked well! Come back soon! Property Owner

"I was extremely disappointed with sykes customer service and will be submitting a complaint."
If you look at whattsapp for example your team make contact … I reply then nothing! Trying to get through to speak to someone not easy. Most of the people i spoke to did not follow through with their promises. Absolutely appalling service. Happy to speak to someone but I doubt you will even bother to contact me!
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed by our Customer Service Team, and we will pass on your comments to the relevant teams to ensure that our standards continue to be met. The Lakelovers Owner Relations Team Property Owner

"Briars Lea was wonderful !"
The location is perfect with a short walk to the lake. The pictures do not do the house justice, the garden is enclosed and beautiful the hot tub area is fabulous! There is 2 bedrooms downstairs both with outside doors to the garden they are almost like separate quarters with one room with a kitchen and a small lounge off it and the other with a cinema room and sitting area off it. (both with lovely bathrooms) Upstairs 2 more bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a great lounge dining, kitchen all very modern with a balcony overlooking the garden. Would defo book again a real gem thank you we loved it. Michelle.
Thanks for the feedback. We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay so much. A special thanks for the detail in the write up. With regard to the hard copy feed back in the visitors book; the full length mirror is now in place. Property Owner

Briars Lea is a stunning holiday home situated in the lakeside town of Bowness-on-Windermere in Cumbria.
Just minutes away from Lake Windermere and countless amenities, this property sleeps eight and welcomes families, groups of friends and a couple of pets wishing to discover the beauties of the Lake District.
Step into this reverse-level property to find a tastefully-decorated open-plan living space.
Cook up your favourite meals in the fully-equipped kitchen to enjoy around the dining table or on the furnished balcony overlooking the garden and pond, and the lake peeking behind the trees.
When the weather gets cooler, come back inside and cuddle up on the plush sofas by the electric fireplace as you watch your favourite show or movies on the TV.
Downstairs, you'll find a media room with another Smart TV and soft couch for when you can't all decide what to watch, and a little seating area with a library for you to choose from.
Make use of the large rear garden when the sun is shining, being cautious of the non-enclosed pond, and why not spend an evening soaking in the hot tub as you stargaze?
When sleep calls, wind down with a steaming shower and slip into the freshly-washed linens of the beds.
You'll never run out of things to do in the lively town of Bowness; head to Boardwalk Bar and Grill for some lakefront steak dining, ChoccoBar Hot Chocolate House for some decadent chocolate-themed foods or Bryson's café for a lighter lunch.
Take a swim in Lake Windermere when the sun is scorching or if you'd like to stay dry, take a scenic cruise along the lake at Windermere Lake Cruises.
Drive down to the charming village of Lakeside and say hello to the marine animals at Lakes Aquarium, make your way to Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway for a scenic and dog-friendly trip on their 20th-century vintage steam trains, and for a taste of history go to Lakeside Motor Museum to check out their exhibitions and collection of antique automobiles.
Next, head to the town of Kendal, known for its bustling shopping district where you'll find all short of locally-made goods, visit the ruins of 1200s Kendal Castle, view the fine art displayed in the stunning Georgian manor Abbot Hall, and the end day with a family dinner at The Joshua Tree bistro.
There's something to do for everybody at Briars Lea.
