  • "We enjoyed our stay at the lodge."

It was very clean, beds were super comfy, and the location was peaceful with quick access to Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere via car. The only negative was that the beds were kept as doubles when we previously requested them to be singles on the form. Other than that, I would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone.

Dear Amy, Thank you for your very generous comments about how much you enjoyed your stay in Yew Cottage. We regret that the double beds were not set up as twins for you, and send our sincere apologies for this oversight; it is unusual for our team to miss this detail, guest comfort and satisfaction are a top priority to us. If you choose to stay with us in future, our staff will be more than happy to resolve any issues, as soon as possible. We hope to see you again.Warm regards, The Oaks team. Property Owner
