Just a couple of minor issues The downstairs sink tap is very loose and needs tightening The towel rail in the on suite is not working Can I suggest that they add to the places to visit to try Bardsea Beach near Ulverston A great little cafe that have brilliant GLUTEN FREE cakes Thanks

Thanks for the feedback, I will get those items checked out this week. We’re going to be back up in a few weeks so we’ll give Bardsea Beach a try, thanks again for your feedback Keith. Property Owner

  • "We were told that you would e-mail Access codes to the key box and e-mail us."

We did not know what Access code were and travelled to Brauch not knowing if we could get in! On arrival a young couple showed us how to gain entry. You seem to have no tel No that gives access to a real person to speak to in emergencies. This is unacceptable. We shall not use your cottages again and ask that you close our Account.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We are sorry to hear that you experienced issues in gaining the key collection details. We will pass on your comments to the relevant teams. The Lakelovers Owner Relations Team Property Owner

  • "A really nice apartment."

It was spoiled slightly by heavy footed guests above us. Still, it was a great break. Clean and well equipped, with some nice touches. Just two things spring to mind, that there was no wardrobe for the second bedroom. And in the en suite, it needed a light directly over the mirror, for shaving. But overall it was very good. Mike

  • "The property is really nice, with two parking spaces, which is a plus."

The quality of the furnishings is excellent. However, my only, but significant, issue was with the heating. It was pretty cold during the two weeks we stayed, to the point where we could see our breath inside. The owner told me he would adjust the heating, and we went back and forth for four days. Eventually, I gave up and drove a 60-mile round trip to buy a heater. Having the owner argue that it was perfectly warm while I was sitting in my coat was not what I wanted during my stay. Whether the app on his phone wasn't working or he was just too miserly to spend a bit on electricity, the heating still went off all day despite his repeated assurances that he had adjusted it. Either way, I won't be staying in any place where the heating is controlled remotely.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear of the issues that you experienced with the heating. We will pass your comments on. The Lakelovers Owner Relations Team Hi Michael, thanks for your kind words about the apartment in general. I’m sorry we weren’t able to get the heating to a level you felt comfortable with, despite the numerous attempts. All I’d say is it’s not a subject that any of our previous guests had raised as a concern. As explained at the time, the heating system was relatively new, installed when the property was built around 2020, and whilst not the simplest to control (hence my request to guests to let me know of any changes they’d like) it’s generally very good, providing individual temperature control for each room. • "Great location and very easy to find."

Very clean, spacious and comfortable accommodation. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were games and books and lots of local information for walks and attractions. This place is a great base to explore the southern part of the Lake District by car, on foot, by bus or you can take the local steam train (just 10 mins walk front door) up to Lakeside (southern tip of Lake Windermere) and either take a boat from there or take a walk in the surrounding area. The accommodation was in a safe, quiet area, next to the river with private parking and outside space to sit and eat.

Thank you for these kind words, they echo all the reasons that attracted us to the apartment in the first place. Property Owner

  • "Lovely property."

Perfect location to visit the Lake District. Unfortunately our holiday was spoilt for the first two nights because of the family upstairs.. It sounded like they doing gymnastics above us, therefore we couldn't sleep. Contacted Alex at Lakelovers on Monday 12th to see if could contact the owner because the property above slept 6 people and 10 people vacated the property that morning. He assured us he would come back to us, but we heard nothing! Clearly Lakelovers had their money, so job done.

Thank you for your comments. We apologise for the experience that you had during your stay, and that a member of the team did not come back to you. We will investigate further into your comments. We hope to welcome you to the Lake District again. The Lakelovers Owner Relations Team........................................................ Apologies, I have subsequently made contact with the owner of the property above ours to highlight the situation. Hopefully, this will be acted upon and passed on to their future guests. Thank you for your kind words regards the apartment. Owner Property Owner

  • "Just back from a lovely week in the Lakes, I think we lucked out with the weather and the apartment."

Highlights, sitting out on the patio for breakfast and the balcony, with gins in hand, for sundown. Great location with easy access to Windermere and some of our favorite walks. The welcome pack was a very ‘welcome’ surprise

  • "Lovely comfortable place with all the amenities you could need for a week."

Very clean, comfortable beds and sofas, and a well equipped kitchen. Wonderful to watch the steam train go past in the distance. Close to Windermere. Unfortunately noise from adjacent properties travels quite easily and one of the two bedrooms became very noisy early in the morning, making it difficult for us to get enough sleep. We suspect this to be because of where the waste pipes are situated in the property, making it very noisy when bathrooms were used in other properties. Additionally, no option was offered for us to move properties despite this major issue. If this issue was resolved we would be back; otherwise we unfortunately cannot recommend a stay here. Despite this everything else was spot on.

UPDATE. The builders have now been in and carried out a number of jobs to address the points you raised. I believe and hope this will reassure you, such that we can welcome you back sometime soon. . Thanks for the kind words about the apartment in general. We take your feedback very seriously and whilst none of our other guests have raised this issue we would like everyone to enjoy their stay as much as possible. We’ll be exploring ways to address the issue you’ve highlighted straight away and hope to welcome you back in the future. Property Owner
