  • "An Excellent property to thank whole family on my Retirement so wanted something 'special' which this lived up to fully, with very little found wanting."

All facilities used to the full including hot tub modern kitchen (as we ate in most days) but also did eat at Cuckoo Brow Inn a short walk away on a couple of nights, which we would also recommend. Host did provide a 'Meet and greet' on our Arrival, which was most welcome and overall would highly recommend (especially for a special occasion) Great views towards Windermere to front and Coniston Falls to rear giving instant 'weather update' We did benefit from great weather most of the week we were there, but accommodation would suit any weather. Property very pieceful whcih was ideal (Windermere area OK but the quiet was just what we were after) and little traffic even though close to Ferry road Close to Hill Top and other attractions with many 'Walk' options also nearby

Great location for walking and views. The owner Mark takes really good care of his home and we couldn’t fault anything. The only downside is that we couldn’t stay longer
