  Our second time in this lodge. Immaculate lodge with every thing you need for your holiday. The welcome pack from Ros and David was excellent. One of the best lodges on this site. Would definitely recommend. 5 star accommodation.

• "Absolutely loved the lodge only issue is the bar and restaurant closing way to early on site especially at peak times."

  I would definitely recommend the lodge to friends and family but the restaurant and bar closing time will definitely put them off. Owners of the lodge you should be so proud of the property you rent out thank you so much for the experience of staying in your beautiful lodge

• "Absolutely fantastic."

  A huge lodge with everything you need. The owners called the day before to ask if I’d like to check-in early which was appreciated. The lodge is extremely clean and couldn’t fault it at all. An amazing holiday and the welcome pack was great.

• "Really lovely property, we had a great stay."

  Thank you for the welcome package, it was the best I've ever had! We were contacted by the owner the day before we were to leave, saying we didn't need to be out of the property by the original time, this was a lovely gesture and much appreciated.

• "Absolutely top of the range lodge, everything we needed and more."

  The welcome hamper was fantastic and really appreciated. The furnishings and fittings were high end quality and made for a really relaxing stay. By far the best lodge we've stayed in. Many thanks.

• "This is a beautiful 3 bedroom Lodge ."

  Very spacious for a family get together . I took my mum too and she loved it, Facilities provided are 5 star everything you need . The furnishings are Immaculate, it is cosy , warm even for a winter break . The lodge is situated 2nd row back from the lake . The lake can be seen from the lounge and dining windows Easy access to entrance and exit of the Leisure village . There is a charge for the use of swimming pool Gym , leisure facilities . I thought was a little expensive for a swim only . The bar and restaurant on site is lovely beautiful lake view . Excellent local places to eat are a short drive away . We enjoyed The Longlands restaurant and The Royal , Bolton Le sands only 5-10 minute drive . Even shorter drive to Booths Aldi and Tesco . No supermarket on site . Key safe is easy to use . We had a problem with the Front door sticking . I rang Sykes and a Maintenance man arrived within the hour to fix it . Very Happy with our stay , we enjoyed 3 nights and will definitely recommend . • "Gorgeous lodge, exceptionally clean and spacious."

  Everything you could wish for, all the home comforts you could ask for. Beautiful welcome hamper on arrival for us and my dog. Orange Juice, milk and teabags etc are very welcome after a long drive. We would definitely recommend this lodge one of the best on the site.   Absolutely brilliant I have stayed in plenty of lodges but this one was far far out of this world loved the attention to detail love the welcome basket full of goodies and a bottle of wine hand sanitizer sweets on the table milk in the fridge would recommend this lodge to everyone

• "We stayed 4 nights at Curlew lodge and cannot fault anything."

  This is a fantastic lodge, clean and well organised, with a home from home feeling. Despite a heavy downpour on day of arrival, we felt very cosy inside- and then enjoyed sunny days afterwards. Sitting out on the deck was very nice. Sykes cottages is very well run and cannot ask for more.

• "The lodge was super clean, cosey and perfect for our short family break."

  From walking in the Christmas decorations and even the christmassy smell and the welcome gift was really warming. A home from home feeling. It had everything you needed from coffee to milk in the fridge for us and all the small decorations made topped it off. Thankyou for a great weekend, we will be booking next year!

• "Probably the nicest lodge we have stayed in at this resort, and we have been to a few."

• "Wow what a lovely lodge."

  There was nothing we could have wanted. So many lovely little touches. And the lovely welcome basket was a lovely thought. The lodge itself was clean and very comfortable. it was quiet and sitting outside of a night with a glass of something was great. i would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for making our holiday a very comfortable and pleasurable stay.

• "The lodge was amazing."

  The only bit of feedback I would give is the outside table was very unstable and the window at the kitchen sink was hard to open and close.

  Hello Richard, Thank you for your feedback it was appreciated. Your comments have been duly noted. As you experienced the Lodge and every item inside and out are brand new. The outside dining table is in fact an adjustable height table allowing guests to raise and lower for coffee or Evening meals. There is a process to ensure the table is raised and lowered securely, We will been ensuring to our future customers this is clearly made available, we have the manufacturers diagrammatic drawing showing that process. I think we will place that underneath the glass table top. We will have the window re-checked for ease of opening and compliance , Once again thank you , and hope to see you again Regards Property Owner

• "We had a lovely two nights stay in this beautiful lodge."

  It was very clean and had absolutely everything we needed. It is located well close by to restaurants and beautiful walks near by. A bottle of Prosecco was a nice surprise also when we arrived at the property. A very relaxing getaway. Would highly recommend and return again for another break away. Thank you!
