"Really nice little apartment, super convenient for village amenities, and perfect as the base for a walking holiday."
This was my second stay, I first came two years ago and loved it then as well. Not everything in the place looks brand new, but it's in good condition and is very easy to relax in. The frying pan is rubbish though. ;-)

"Lovely flat, great views, excellent location and well presented."

"Unable to close bathroom door Many bulbs need replacing Storage an issue as fridge door milk shelf is missing Chipped drinking glass Cracked dessert dish Noisy leaking tap Hall stairs had been vacuumed We have mentioned the fridge problem on many other occasions when we have stayed."
All the above issues could easily be rectified and make for a more pleasant stay.

"Some time ago there must have been some money spent on Bluebird Loft."
However ongoing maintenance seems to have been let go. Several light bulbs were out, could not see out of kitchen windows (dirty), grouting along tap end of shower was crumbling, the front door to flat would not stay shut without being locked. The internal door handles creaked and made noise, they would also not stay shut and kept opening... Lamp in bathroom above sink is rusty. When anyone sat on toilet the floorboards creak (warped floorboards or broken joists ?) Fridge door storage broken (seriously reduces what can be stored ! Wonderful location. Would I stay in Coniston again, YES Would I stay In Bluebird Loft again, NO

"Fridge door milk tray missing (2 time reported) still missing having to store milk in veg space."
Most inconvenient limits where you can store other items.
-
"Had a lovely stay at Bluebird Loft."
Facilities were all we would have wished for. Quiet location but a short walk to pubs and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.
-
"Fridge door shelf missing unable to store milk/wine unable to use salad compartment due to us using it to store the milk."
-
"We did list things that would have been handy for anyone staying, in their visitor's book ie table mats for hot plates, a pint of milk and a couple of tea bags left for anyone after a long drive, perhaps complimentary shower gel (as that's what hotels have available)."
Other than these small items, Bluebird Loft is ideal for a couple for a short break and is perfectly placed within the village.

"We had a really great time, the flat was very comfortable and was exactly what we needed."
-
"We had a lovely week, with the weather being kind to us."
Bluebird Loft is a nice apartment, well situated for a quiet break in the Lakes or for travelling out to other locations. The only minor thing I noted was the wobbly glass table...may be needs changing or making more stable. Thank you, we would book again.

"Comfortable apartment, perfect for 2."
Super views from kitchen windows. Night sky was amazing. Milky Way so clear. Great having pizza place so close, it sells lovely bakery products and coffee through the day and pizza early evening. Steam bistro even closer open at weekends. Super food. Really enjoyed sitting out front enjoying a glass of wine or cup of tea after a day on the fells. Ate and enjoyed a pint or 2 of real ale at several pubs in Coniston. The only glitch was an unwelcome, faint, stale cooking smell when we arrived. Rectified by opening windows and leaving them open overnight. Maybe an air freshener or new filters on cooker. Didn’t spoil our stay at all. Highly recommend.
Hi, Air freshener, replaced. Thank you for your lovely comments, much appreciated :) Property Owner

"The apartment was as described, if anything a little nicer."
Though the apartment is for 2, it would be nice to have a bit more by way of crockery and glasses, so you don’t have to wash up so much.
Hi, More crockery and glasses have been supplied. Glad you enjoyed your stay. :) Property Owner

"There was a problem with the water heater but a call to Sykes' help line got me on touch with the property owner very quickly and we were able to resolve the issue over the phone."

"Bluebird Loft is a lovely comfortable little apartment in the centre of Coniston."
The shops, cafes and pubs are nearby and there are amazing walks from the door. The village was nice and quiet at night so there was no disturbance & I slept really well. Incredibly comfy bed, lovely deep bath, tons of hot water and very effective central heating so, despite ridiculously cold weather for May, I was very snug indeed. The washing/drying machine was really useful and the kitchen had everything I needed. All the furniture etc was of good quality and the flat was spotlessly clean. WiFi was a bit iffy at times but no real issues. My only criticisms are that the electric heater would not work, I didn't need it for warmth but it would have been cosy to have the log effect on in the evenings...and the bulbs in living room wall lights were gone, either that or something was wrong with the wiring. All in all it was fabulous, I really enjoyed mý stay.

"Lovely accommodation and brilliant location for walking and amenities"
-
"Gorgeous, well situated loft."
Sparkling clean and comfortable! Close to great pubs and great walks!
-
"Great apartment for 2 people."
Very comfortable- exactly what I needed after completing the Lakeland 50 mile run! Only small criticism - please get a new frying pan. The one there is almost unusable.
-
"Amazing apartment in a perfect location - we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend!"
-
"Great spot!"
Small but perfectly formed place to stay.
-
"We had a fantastic holiday in Coniston."
Bluebird Loft had everything we needed, and so conveniently located for access to mountains, lake, pubs and shops.
-
"Great location in the centre of Coniston we stayed to run the Coniston 14 mile race and so was a perfect location to make it all accessible."
Could do with a towel rail or an airer to dry the towels when you don’t have the heating on but that is the only thing. Everything is very high standard and comfortable.
-
"Snug apartment but has everything you need and good facilities in kitchen area."
Please note that there is a hairdryer, although not mentioned in inventory, so I unnecessarily brought one with me! Convenient location with bistro next door, 3 pubs and other eating places. Coniston is smallish village, but perfectly formed and perfect for location.

"Slight problem at the start, swiftly dealt with by your staff."
Accommodation up to our high expectations.
-
"The flat was very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay at the flat."
Very clean and nicely located for the village. Comfortable bed and all essential amenities. Will be pleased to stay there again. Sykes emails and instructions were clear and the app was useful. The only issues were that we couldn't figure out how to use the oven/grill or the washing machine and the instructions were not there or didn't help. The CO alarm went off because of low batteries but that's understandable and something that happened by chance.
-
"The apartment was really well appointed, whilst it was small, it had everything you needed."
We didn't expect it but the only thing lacking was a little outside space like a balcony, that's the only thing that would prevent us rebooking this particular property but you really couldn't fault it in any other way.

"I arrived on the Friday morning, collected the keys and went upstairs, my first ..."
I arrived on the Friday morning, collected the keys and went upstairs, my first impression after opening the day was, wow this is lovely, the flat was very clean and tidy and had absolutely everything i needed, one nice touch was, even though it sleeps only two, it had enough plates etc for a couple of guests, having a washer drier was useful as being in the Lake District, the weather is unpredictable, its situated close to every thing, food shops, pubs etc, very quiet and peaceful even being on the road side, only thing I would suggest would be maybe update to a blueray player, but it wasn't much of a problem, I have recommended it to family members and will do to friends, i will definitely be back in the future, lots of good walking right on the doorstep, hardly using my car

"Nice cottage, good location, fairly small but fine for a week."
It would be good to include a map to the bike store as difficult to find.
-
"Although it was called Bluebird Loft and we should have realised, but it was a but of a struggle initially with luggage up the 29 stairs."
Possibly this should be included in description for people with poor mobility or health issues
