  • "Hi. Thanks for the opportunity to provide feedback."

We were really impressed with the property. We thought the location, car parking and amenities were excellent. We particularly liked the views of the Langdale Pikes from the veranda. We couldn't fault it with one exception - there was no TV in the main sitting area. We are all big 'Strickly' fans and had looked forward to watching it together on the Saturday night - also unable to watch Match of the Day together. It seems odd that there were TVs in all the bedrooms - which no one watched - and in the snug which only seated four people. On holiday as a family we don't always watch the TV of an evening - spent first night playing Uno - but I find it extremely odd that this facility isn't provided. It is as if the owners treat watching the TV as a 'guilty sin' which has to be done on your own in your bedroom. It is a real shame as this will affect whether we return to this property in the future. The use of the projector wasn't an option as unable to show live TV, and there was no extension lead to position it in the room. I would be very interested on your view of this feedback. Kind regards Alan Lang

Hi Alan Thanks for your message - we're pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. Sorry to hear the TV arrangements weren't to your liking. We do make it clear in the listing that there isn't a TV in the open plan living area but will consider the arrangement going forward. Kind regards Hannah and Chris Property Owner
