  • "We have just returned from a great few days, the property exceeded our expectations and photos do not do it justice."

We took full advantage of the hot tub, despite it being October, everything was available at the property and we wanted for nothing, Paul the owner rang us before we arrived and was on hand if we had any problems. Thank you so much for the welcome pack which was much appreciated. We are already looking to book for 2025. Colin and family

It was apparent we were going to enjoy our stay.everything is catered for and the facilities outside are superb. The hot tub is a must after a long walk along the front. The town centre is 5 minute's walk at the most, loads of restaurants, cafes, shops. This said the location is really quiet at night. Thanks Paul for the welcome pack, most welcome. All you need to bring if staying here is the weather. We will be back

  • "What a fantastic place."

It's a fairly large semi-detached house with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. There was lots of storage and the kitchen was really well stocked and lovely and bright and modern. We very much enjoyed using the conservatory, which was comfortable and made a pleasant alternative to the lounge. The location couldn't be bettered. The bus stop into Blackpool in one direction or to Fleetwood in the other is about 500 yards away and the tram stop a little further at the other end of the road. The town is just the other side of the bus stop with lots of cafés and some very nice bakeries and it's also very close to the promenade and beaches. Our 2 doggies enjoyed themselves too. We all absolutely recommend 19 Slinger Road 100% with no concerns and are very eager to return. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Paul, the owner, always goes above and beyond, nothing is ever any trouble. We've stayed at Paul's property on Nutter Road previously so know we are well looked after. The house has everything you'd need. We made great use of the hot tub, pool table and conservatory as we have lovely weather. Beds are comfortable and each room has more than enough storage space. The house was huge and having the gaming table and arcade machine for the kids to use during the wet weather was perfect. The adults all enjoyed the hot tub and the beds are extremely comfortable. There was plenty of towels down there so you wouldn’t even need to pack any. Takes around 10 mins drive to Blackpool pleasure beach which was perfect. Nice and quiet area and we will definitely book up again next year to enjoy it all over again. The owner even left a little welcome pack of biscuits, coffee, tea, box of chocolates and had every kitchen utensil you will need. 10 out of 10 accommodation

  • "This is a honest review of our stay, listing all the good points and negatives."

Good House is generally clean and tidy Settee is a corner sofa with 2 electric recliners, very comfy. Kitchen is clean and tidy and modern Bedrooms are clean if a little dated in places, (sockets very old, cables not routed just curled up in corners etc) The beds are comfy, although they do squeak a little. Fee Netflix is provided and the TV is excellent. Bathroom is clean and the shower is very nice. The downstairs windows were locked, we messaged Paul and someone came round to unlock them and let some fresh air in as it was very hot inside the house. Heating is controlled by a hive thermostat in the hallway, we turned this down as the house was very warm. The 1980s gaming machine was a nice touch. A nice basket of chocolates and biscuits was waiting for us on arrival. Not so good There is an odour when you first enter the house, its not entirely unpleasant and there has been an attempt to mask the smell with an air freshener. There were no dish cloths or tea towels for doing the dishes and cleaning the counters down The curtains in the main bedroom did nothing to stop the morning light coming through at 5am. The pool table was badly levelled, we asked Paul to come and sort this, he said he would, but unfortunately, it never happened, quite disappointing, when that was a main attraction for our boys. There was only one useable pool cue, the others were either tiny or broken. The hot tub had an error message stating the filter was 23 days overdue a change. Other useful info Parking is tight and there is a birds nest in the gutter directly above, hence car was covered in bird droppings. The front door cannot be opened from the outside without a key even if it is unlocked, so don't leave the keys inside the house and let the door shut. The knife and fork drawer is hidden inside the top drawer near the oven. If these small nuances were addressed, we would gladly stay again, the house is located in a generally nice area, close to shops and buses and trams.

Hello Anthony Thanks for your feedback and for stopping with us we do appreciate it …. The hot tub is looked after by a professional pool and hot tub company and the filters are changed every time a guest has stopped… really wished you had mentioned this during in your stay and one of the engineers would have come out immediately to have a look …. I do apologise in regard to the pool table being slightly un level we have since had this levelled out … with the pool table being a professional slate bed table it is very heavy and our maintenance guy could not lift it on his own so we had to get in extra staff to do this and unfortunately with you only stopping for a short period of time this got fixed after your departure…. We have since got new pool cues In regard to the dishcloths there is some new ones under the sink and there is an integrated dishwasher for washing up…. I’m really pleased you found the knife and fork draw in the kitchen… not sure what you exactly mean in regard to it being hidden it’s the top draw … Since reading your comments I’ve asked our maintenance guy to investigate the alleged bird nest and there isn’t one there … with the property being so close to the beach you must have got unlucky with one of the local seagulls…. I’ve also asked the cleaning team about the odour entering the house and again we are not sure how this has come about the house is clean thoroughly after every guest and then the house keeper checks the cleaning so have never experienced this issue previously… really wish you had mentioned this during your stay and we would have sent our cleaning team round immediately…. We are so pleased that you enjoyed the rest of the facilities that the property had to offer … arcade machine , Netflix and the properties beautiful location…. We look forward to welcoming you and your back in future and pleased your family had a great holiday… Kind regards Paul and the team Property Owner

  • "Had a lovely break in this homely, comfortable property."

Everything you could need is provided and a welcome pack of coffee, tea, milk, biscuits. Also a small box of Milk Tray (which I did eat). Plenty of games to keep kids occupied. Hot tub and pool table in the garden is a great touch. Nice enclosed garden for dogs. I had a minor problem with Internet access but contacted Paul, the owner (a lovely, helpful and friendly gentleman) and problem was resolved instantly. Property is very central for the shops and beach being a 5 minute walk away. Parking maybe a bit tight if you have a large car (we have a Peugeot 2008 and husband managed fine) but there is also a designated parking space on road in front of house. If holidaying in Cleveleys then I would recommend this property.

Hello Isabel Thanks so much for stopping at the property it was a pleasure having you and your family…. So pleased you enjoyed all the facilities the property has to offer…. Hello Matelan Sorry to hear your comments… really wish when I spoke to you to ask if everything was okay you’d have mentioned to us what you wasn’t happy with …. Instead of saying everything was perfect and you were having a great time ??? We take pride in looking after our guests and making sure the property is perfect and we have a professional hot tub company that look after the hot tub…. We also have a house keeping team on 24 hour call out that would have fixed any issues straight away for you…. Why didn’t you mention this during in your stay ? Really disappointed you didn’t…. It really surprises me what you are saying… the cleaning team clean the property and the house keeper checks the cleaning after that ….so we pretty much have a fool proof system… Please see all 100% feedback from our recent guests Kind regards Paul and the team Property Owner

We were blessed with great weather meaning we could really make the most of the outdoor pool table and hot tub, we enjoyed a meal outside too. Everything had been thought of, we had fun with the arcade machine, comfortable sofa and a great touch that the apps on the TV had a guest login. All the beds were so comfy, plenty of towels and beautifully decorated. A short walk finds you on the seafront, interesting items to be found along the way. Highly recommend, host was very friendly and helpful even checking if all was satisfactory after we had left. We will definitely be booking this property again, thank you

Close to all the shops that you require, just a short walk from the house. Paul the owner is a great fella and on the end of the phone if you need assistance. Lovely welcome pack. Short walk to a lovely beach and a shorter walk to the bus station or to the tram system, take your pick. We hardly used the car and you can park off the road, right outside the front door but it is tight if you have a big car. Would we return and that's a definite YES.
