  • "The cottage internally was very good, however there were a number of things missing including hair drier, waste bins in bedrooms and chairs for the dressing tables."

More effort should be made for recycling as all went into the same waste bin. The biggest dissapointment was the lack of a sitting out area. The cottage was set in a court yard with cobbles stones and overlooked the back of the hotel. The view was not very nice. Sykes description of 13 acres of gardens to explore was not possible as the venue issued a statement which read Holiday guests do not have access to the hall or gardens or grounds unless the are attending an event. This needs to be clarified and changed in the Sykes information. The location satisfied our requirement geographically and if the above can be addressed then it can warrent your 5 Star rating.
