  • "Perfect house for a 2 family break."

Great facilities, excellent location for walking into Windermere and Bowness. Very clean and comfortable and the welcome hamper was much appreciated. A lamp on the lounge would be a nice addition.

  • "Had a lovely stay, clean and comfortable, only downside was the very small showers, but I suppose that’s the price to pay for having your own en suit ."

Knew the area, stayed 2 doors up 6 years ago. Love Windermere a beautiful place .

  • "Stayed here a group of 8 for a birthday weekend, lovely house and good location ."

House is spotless and with all the facilities you need .would definitely return .but please read house rules properly as we put rubbish in bin round the back of house and low and behold an angry gentleman came out of the middle of no where shouting have we read the rules as park beck bin in in the front of house and need to deposit rubbish there but we had 2 cars in drive and the bin was hidden ..he was on phone while he was there so don't know who he was talking to about us but it was a genuine mistake ..we then returned the rubbish to the correct bin and went on our way home as he walked away he was like a peepin tom ,but this hasn't put us off returning but will remember to put rubbish in the correct bin

  • "Lovely house, very cosy, parking for normal size car and a large car squeezed on too!"

Nice tele and comfy sofa- lamp may be beneficial in living room; light a bit bright and slightly dark as the evening went on. Kitchen very modern and well equipped. Cooked several times and had everything we required. Few handy essentials avaliable in case you've forgotten anything too. Welcome hamper of tea, coffee, sugar and proseccco. Unfortunately, we weren't left any milk; we had our own and the shops are only a very short walk. Bedrooms all comfy, showers bit rubbish compared to the rest of the house, shower over the bath was by far the best. Information pack with handy bits and pieces, possibly could do with an update - heating manageable by TRVs, no heating on, was slightly chilly during our stay and would have been good to dry towels / damp clothes. Enjoyed our stay very much, house could do with a 'deep' clean, but didn't effect our stay. We would stay again and recommend!
