  • "On arrival it was lovely to have no fuss when settling in."

Arrive, grab the key & unwind. The welcome pack was good & gave good details of local amenities including the basic items for a drink. The hot tub was overlooked by a large house above it which wasn't too off-putting. The enormous tree & foilage covering the site attracted quite a few bugs, especially at night. Majority of the pod was clean & tidy except cobwebs around the ceiling as my partner is taller than me & got hit by them. Under the sofa bed had not been cleaned in a long time (a lot of debris, dust etc). All in all, it was a nice, comfortable stay. Thank you.

  • "Absolutely loved the stay there."

Just out of the way enough for peace and quiet but close enough to civilisation if you want to pop out. Great little cabin and hot tub and will book again in the future!

  • "Really enjoyed our weekend at the pod."

Good location as Blackpool, Lancaster, Garstang, morecombe etc are very near. Private and quiet with access to a hot tub on a night is a big plus. Cosy cabin and numerous comforts/facilities inside made our time there very enjoyable. A few very minor things would help. A mirror for the bathroom, something for the leaves in the hot tub before and after use would be helpful. The welcoming book needs updating as we noticed some pubs/restaurants were no longer open and were listed as such. However the book was very helpful. Had some issues with bugs and flies on a night getting into the pod so a screen or something similar would be helpful. However this is due to the location I.e. next to some trees and farmland. Overall an excellent stay and would recommend and come back for another visit.

  • "Lovely!! so private, clean and the underfloor heating was great"

. The hot tub was fun as well and found some nice river walks close by. Before going i read a review about the pillows being a little flat which I agree with. Though we did bring our own so it was great but without our own we would of struggled.

  • "Was abit tricky to find the first time, but once we knew where it was, it was a breeze to get in and out."

The walk from the car parking to the pod just felt magical; walking down the slope, hearing the birds sing their songs and butterflies flying around. When we opened the door, we was met with a beautiful space, comfortable bed (which was fun to climb in and out of everyday

  • "The Pod was in an amazing location and was perfect for a romantic getaway and a good time."

Hot tub was really fun and nice, great kitchen facilities for such a small place along with a fantastic booklet with great local recommendations. On the photos the outside of the pod looked a little more spacious and private than it actually was but other than that, keep it up guys!

  • "Beautiful location and very quiet and relaxing."

POD was lovely and warm did not sleep in bed as it was small and not very comfortable, slept on the pull out couch still wasn’t great but better then bed. Small things let it down like the plate drainer was rusty with bits flaking off, the blind in the bathroom was stained with mould and the mirror on door was not clean it was all just abit old fashioned and felt abit mis matched small things I know but attention to detail would make a huge difference. The hot tub however was perfect and a fantastic experience at night . We would return but would like to see a little more love for the pod.

  • "I booked this as a surprise for my boyfriend as its something I've always wanted to do."

It did not disappoint. The Holiday Cottage was spacious, had everything we needed, lovely and quiet and the hot tub was amazing. Just a short walk to the nearest pub (The Pattern Arms) which we found friendly, busy and great food. We also had a trip into Garstang to a few pubs which was just a taxi ride away. It was lovely and clean and cozy and we would definitely come and stay again. Thank you Lisa & Mark

  • "A nice little pod tucked away nicely amongst some foliage."

Hot tub is a nice touch but could maybe do with some kind of cover to protect from the elements. And I would suggest getting a new frying pan as the current one is a little out of shape and not really fit for cooking with. Other than that it was a great short stay, quite close by to good hiking spots.

  • "Hot tub was the best part for us."

Very good cooking facilities for a pod and the underfloor heating was excellent. We did not know it was on the edge of what was a quite busy road that you can deal with. But the comfort you can't it definitely needs a new mattress especially as it is on top of wooden slats. We even tried the sofa bed with no joy either. Lots fo dust and cobwebs throughout the whole pod as well. So could do with a little attention to detail with the cleaning and would be sorted.

  • "The property is lovely and exactly as advertised."

Very cosy, heats up quickly and it's definitely a lovely feeling to walk around on underfloor heating! It's got everything a small pod would need and the hot tub was a fabulous touch to make the getaway that little bit special. We're very happy and will definitely look to return at some point soon. We'd just say that we found sleeping on the pull out couch much comfier and the frying pan might need replacing soon- these are the only things I'd bring up. Overall 10/10 and we would recommend!

Was so relaxing very clean an tidy in the pod. Just one downfall every time we made food the smoke alarm would go off with a slight bit of cooking. But everything else was fabulous. Would definitely recommend. We will be back. Thanks again x

  • "The homewood pod was delightful!"

From arriving and seeing the pod hidden within the trees to relaxing in the hot tub… it was the perfect little paradise! The pod itself was a great size, definitely feels bigger in person but lovely and cosy! Everything we could’ve needed was provided, the bottle of wine ready in the fridge was much appreciated. We very much loved our stay and would look to stay here again in the future.

  • "Stunning little pod hidden away in a little wood."

. Everything you need for a couples getaway.. Took my breath away as we walked up.. Few cobwebs hanging about but other than that spotless and that’s prob to be expected in the middle of the woods.. my only criticism would be maybe a new mattress as wasn’t the most comfortable, but honestly that’s the only thing and I still slept ok.. Loved my stay.. and the info sent before was very useful with the additional directions etc and lots of great info in the pod of nearby places (recommend the ice cream place down the road - yummy)… thank you!
