A fabulous property that’s tastefully decorated and furnished to the highest of standards providing everything you could possibly need for a lovely stay. Spotlessly clean and very warm and cosy. Situated in a lovely quiet location with plenty of walks from the front door, we didn’t need to use the car during our stay. Chris was very welcoming and provided us with lots of useful information about the area. Julie also provided a lovely welcome basket containing local goodies. A lovely couple.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided for. The location is sufficiently remote with amazing views of the hills but still a short drive from Kendal. We would love to stay there again the next time we visit the Lake District.

Hello Stephen, Thanks for taking the time to leave The Badger’s Shack feedback. You’re correct about the roof blinds in the 2nd bedroom. We’ve ordered some and will have them up as soon as they arrive. I’m sorry we did not notice earlier. We’re still refining this new building and feedback such as yours is very helpful to us. That apart, we’re glad you enjoyed your break and would recommend The Badger’s Shack to other guests. Thanks and all the best. Property Owner
