"A well presented cottage with all and more you will need for your stay."
We chose Eden view because it is dog friendly and we have our sons dog whilst he is on honeymoon. A good size garden with very little distractions for a young dog to be interested in. Although we stayed in July we took advantage of the living room log fire on one night as it got unseasonably cold. There are plenty of dog friendly pubs around for meals out but please check opening day's/times especially off season. We would highly recommend The Highland Drove 5 minutes drive away. Thank you for a lovely stay.

"A really lovely, comfortable cottage with everything and more we could have needed."
Garden was very secure for our pooch and the view from the garden was fantastic with the sheep for company. Ideally situated to visit Pooley Bridge and Hadrian's wall at Brampton. Lovely touch with the welcome basket. Only one negative is the steps up to the garden could do with a rail but it didn't bother us but might if your a little wary of steps.

"Lovely cottage."
From the moment we entered it felt so inviting. Lovely welcome gifts for us and the dogs, a beautiful space to be in … the dogs lived the garden and sitting on the veranda was beautiful listening to the sheep and bird song. Clean, well maintained and loved, quirky and comfortable in a fabulous spot for going out from. Even the chat with local villagers at the pub was delightful. We would love to come again !!! "Lovely well equipped cottage with lots of lovely local walks along the river."
Enclosed garden and on street parking across the road were a great bonus. Lots of places to visit nearby so we had a great holiday thank you
-
"Lovely cottage, a proper home from home."
We had a great stay and the dogs loved the garden area, and the walks by the river. Great base for exploring the Lakes.
-
"Great wee cottage, the hosts have thought of everything and it was very clean and comfortable."
The views from the back garden were spectacular and the whole area was stunning. There was a local walk along the River Eden which was lovely, and you're not far from many beautiful destinations - about an hour from Windermere, and 40 minutes from Keswick, Ullswater and some other great places. I was worried that parking would be a problem as it is on street parking, but I was always able to get parked right in front of the house so no issues there!

"An excellent property well equipped, beside some lovely walks, lovely stove for the cool evenings and dogs very welcome."
What more could you want. Excellent quick responses from owner when we needed to make contact. Would highly recommend.

"We enjoyed a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage for 3 days over New Year."
The cottage is gorgeous and homely inside with a large garden area to the rear of the property which was ideal for our dog. There is a pub and a well equipped shop nearby and two other pubs around 20 minutes walk away. We had great communication from the owners who were always available if there was anything we needed. A lovely cottage. Would definitely stay again.
-
"A beautiful cottage which is thoughtfully arranged and appointed."
Brilliant hosts who made sure that we had everything that we needed and more. Highly recommend.

"Just enjoyed a week at Eden View, such a clean and cosy cottage and the owners are great - communication, facilities and welcome pack all brilliant!"
The village is lovely with a handy Co-op 5 mins walk away and great walks from your doorstep, also easy access to other surrounding villages. Our 9 year old daughter loved the playground and football pitch 1 min stroll from the front door! We wouldn't hesitate to return :)

"Totally awesome cottage nice and quiet just what we were looking for ."
100% wud go again thanks
-
"Excellent accommodation."
Only downfall for us being 77years old was the steps to the garden no handrail rather difficult carrying items upstairs via patio doors with drinks etc.
-
"Lovely and clean with a thoughtful welcome pack on arrival - nice village with a public outside swimming pool so close by."
Couldn't ask for anything else - thanks.

"Beautiful property in a great location."
Very comfortable and clean, the hob could be upgraded as it took so long to heat up. Owners were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend the cottage and we will definitely return
Thank you for your feedback and we are delighted to hear that you will look to return in the future. We also note your feedback regarding the hob and we will look into this. Thank you again for choosing to stay at 3 Eden View. Property Owner

"Beautiful property and garden, clearly the owners have put a lot of work into making it look the business; a lot of modern touches while remaining in keeping with the age of the cottage."
I loved that there was street parking directly outside, as it made it super easy to unload and load the car, especially with having my two dogs with me. Also loved the tap & hose by the front door for boot cleaning, so handy for muddy walks! The local Co-op shop was hands down the biggest and best stocked Co-op I've ever been to, you can buy all sorts there! And it's only a few mins walk up the road. Some very helpful leaflets for local attractions left in the cottage and also the cottage manual contained a lot of useful info. My only gripe would be (and its only a relatively minor one) is that there are no temperature markings on the electric hob dials or on the toaster temperature dial, so you have to just guess through trial and error what temperature you're setting them at. But all in all, we had a very pleasant stay and would certainly stay again, particularly as Lazonby itself was such a lovely place with very friendly people.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, we are thrilled you enjoyed your stay in Lazonby and hope to welcome you again in the future. Property Owner

"This is the best holiday home we have stayed at in and around the Penrith area."
The cottage is well maintained and was full of extra items to help the stay be easier- drinks, bread, cleaning products, toilet paper, and liquid soap, etc. The cottage has a wood burner which was excellent for cozy evenings and plenty of logs and kindling. The single bedroom leads out to an enclosed garden which was great for our dog (there is also access to it from the main living area). We had a lovely time and absolutely loved this cottage- it is in the most beautiful village and not far from Penrith. The owners were fantastic and on hand if there were any issues.
Wow what amazing feedback this is really appreciated, we're pleased that you had a lovely stay at our cottage, and look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Property Owner

"Thank you very much for your lovely cottage."
It was just perfect for our recollections of dear Margaret. The cottage was warm and clean. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to create our vegan meals. The bedrooms were warm and comfortable. There were lovely walks around the cottage, we even found ‘Norman’s Way’, quite a surprise.
We are so pleased that our cottage provided perfect place for you to recollect lovely memories of Margaret. Your feedback is really appreciated, and we're pleased to hear that you found the cottage to be warm and comfortable. Property Owner
