"Superb property."
Quality fixtures and fittings with perfect social space benefiting from open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. Everything needed was provided. Lovely and warm property with underfloor heating; the log fire was beautiful for Sunday evening chill around the fire. Bedrooms are comfortable, perfectly clean linen and spacious. Lovely and quiet, road side but a quiet road and we didn’t notice any road noise. Stunning views and enough off road gated parking for 4 cars. Nice gentle walk into Middleton Teesdale with shops and pubs. Welcome gift is a lovely touch We’d definitely recommend this property.

"Lovely house in a good village setting."
Very clean and lots of space. It was no problem for the owners to supply a shower chair when asked, very helpful and appreciated. Beautiful accommodation, would stay again. Visited lots of local areas, The Teeside Hotel and Samuel James provided good food.

"Loved our time at Bramblewood."
Peaceful comfortable and relaxing, a great place to wind down and catch up with old friends. Beautiful views. Good choice of places to eat nearby. Ground floor bedroom and bathroom ideal for someone requiring a wheelchair ( as one of us needed and as physios we would suggest having a non slip mat and a suitable chair in that bathroom available - we brought them with us). Milk jug and wooden spoon would be useful

"The cottage is as described and it is wonderful."
Could be better with clearer instructions regarding the heating and spare key would also be appreciated as well as napkins. The welcome pack was a surprise but very much appreciated.

"Bramblewood cottage is an idyllic place for a peaceful holiday."
The view of the surrounding hills from the dining area is second to none. It has a beautiful kitchen area and all the appliances worked extremely well. The bedrooms are spacious, light and immaculately kept. The owners left a starter hamper which we found really useful. All in all, it is the perfect place to spend a holiday with friends or family and would most certainly recommend this cottage.

"We arrived to a lovely welcome of Christmas lights on outside and a Christmas tree inside."
The cottage was so warm and inviting and made it feel cosy and homely straight away. Great location, only a 10 minute walk into the high street. We would certainly stay again.

"A superb cottage, lovely view, comfortable yet stylish and well equipped."
Our three generation group felt very at home and had everything we needed for a really enjoyable stay. The easy walk into Middleton's facilities (Coop, take aways, 2 pubs serving good food and play park) further added to the experience. The hosts had thought of everything including the delightful welcome pack! Thank you.

"It was a little difficult to find the house, despite the instructions."
A small map with a few of the village's main landmarks would have made it easier. Our grandchildren are teenagers. If they had been small we would have been very, very nervous about letting them into the "garden" with the steep drop to the rear of the house. This was not mentioned in the description of the property.

"We had a fantastic family stay at Bramblewood cottage."
The house and views were stunning and close to lots of lovely walks. I would definitely recommend a relaxing holiday here.
-
"Warm comfortable cottage in a great location."
Easy walk down the hill to the village shops & a short drive to Low Force to start the lovely walk by the river to High Force. Highly recommend the village fish & chip shop.

"Absolutely love this cottage and cannot wait to return again soon!"

"We had a great time."
The house is lovely to stay in, very warm, well equipped, can't really fault it. We would happily book it again if we stay in that area.

"Wow! What a fabulous cottage."
It is exactly as described. Every fixture and fitting is of high quality. It’s spotlessly clean and the beds are the best quality and so comfy. The bathroom, wet room and en-suite are fabulous. The open plan is so spacious and comfy, and the log fire was so warm and cosy as so was the under floor heating. It was decorated lovely with a Christmas tree. There is a lovely balcony with beautiful views. Plenty of parking on own drive we got 4 cars on. Angela the owner was so friendly and made us feel very welcome, there was a lovely welcome pack for us. Very kind We have stayed in lots of cottages but for us this was by far the best for quality. There was 8 of us and we still had plenty of room. We didn’t want to leave! I would recommend this cottage you will not be disappointed. Thankyou Angela

"Not a bad thing to say about this cottage 'superb'"
-
"Bramblewood is a beautiful holiday cottage of a very high standard."
It felt very homely and was tastefully decorated. We very much appreciated the basket of goodies awaiting us on our arrival, and the message from the owner to say if there was anything we needed to let her know. It gave us peace of mind. The beds were very comfortable, bathrooms and showers were great and the open plan set up downstairs suited us very well. Would definitely visit this cottage again.
-

It is absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. The host Angela was very accommodating and left a very thoughtful welcome pack upon arrival. We cannot wait to return!

"This 'cottage' was very recently renovated and extended and was in first class condition as was the equipment etc."
Middleton in Teesdale is small with limited facilities (but Barnard Castle is not far away) and is situated in lovely country and close to High Force waterfall. The only difficulty we experienced was in finding the property; a map and more detail about the alternative approaches to Middleton would have been helpful; .

"Lovely new house, great location."
Well equipped and warm. Completely clean when we arrived.

"We had a lovely stay at Bramblewood cottage staying for a week."
5 adults and 2 children yet it still felt spacious. The cottage was clean, comfortable warm and cosy with great views of the country side. Well equipped kitchen for any cook. I would definitely recommend a stay .

Fantastic accommodation and good layout, with plenty of space (for 7 adults using all 4 bedrooms) and 3 bathrooms was a real benefit Immaculate and very welcoming Owner was very helpful and available, which made our experience extra special

"Very nice property with great views to the hills and very comfy bedrooms."
The seating area felt a bit squashed for the 7 of us and wouldn't have worked for 8 adults. Kitchen was decently equipped but glad we had brought some extra kit. Having private parking was a definite bonus from previous places we have been to in Middleton and we had a great long weekend overall. We never figured out how to control the heating so the place was very warm.. which is the better way to be!
-
"Really enjoyed our stay, the cottage was beautifully warm and comfortable."
Super views. We all enjoyed it. A couple of tablespoons would have been good, also a bread bin. Minor details really but would have helped. Cannot praise the cottage highly enough.
-
