"The Hayloft had everything we needed to make for a very comfortable stay indeed."
Lovely green views through all the windows, with a great view of Malham Beck and the centre of the picturesque village of Malham through the lounge windows. And some interesting books! Would stay there again. Keith
Thanks Keith Really happy to hear you would come again and particularly that you found some interesting books! It’s a great place to sit and read. Property Owner

"The Hayloft at Tennant Barn was very comfortable, warm and well equipped."
The central heating is efficient and is fully controlled by guests. There are pretty outlooks from every window. We always book holiday accommodation with an outdoor seating area, however on this occasion we misunderstood the property description and were a bit disappointed to find there was no private outdoor seating area. There are two fold up chairs and a table, stored in the entrance hall and we made good use of these by placing them on the bank of the stream which is just the other side of the track. I don't think you could leave them there though as it has public access so we brought them back in again after each use.

"Fabulous cottage!"
Extremely comfortable bed, gorgeously big bath towels, excellent facilities as described on the website, perfect location, very friendly and helpful owner. Great place from which to explore the surrounding countryside with walks and views to die for. I highly recommend this cottage and will definitely be staying there again.

"We have stayed here four times since 2014 or so."
It is under new management but as it was and better. It is a hidden gem to be found in the most beautifull place. The owners could not have been more helpful or kinder. Highly recommended indeed you won't regret it.
We hope you will decide that Malham deserves another visit in the future. Thank you so much for leaving us such a lovely bit of feedback. It is appreciated. Property Owner

"Loved the Hayloft but slightly disappointed with the lack of outdoor space."
The photo made it look like there was somewhere to sit outside at the property. I think it could’ve been clearer that the area to sit at, which was lovely by the river, was just over the track and the area could’ve been maintained and mowed. That said, the accommodation was outstanding so don’t let the lack of outdoor space put you off. Brilliant accommodation and brilliant sized bed.
I’m sorry you were disappointed with the outdoor space. It is a lovely spot but tricky when we can’t leave furniture out for people to use. I appreciate your comments about changing the information we provide or the details held by Sykes. Very happy to hear that you were happy with the accommodation - particularly that lovely bed! An unbeatable location for walking. Just don't drive anywhere at the weekend between 9 & 4.
So glad to hear you were happy with your stay. Property Owner

"Had a lovely week."
Lovely bright compact apartment set in the village with views of the stream and hills from windows. Kitchen area has everything you need although small washing machine would have been welcome. Comfortable seating area to relax and read or watch the television, and little table for dining.Very restful . Lovely bedroom with large wardrobe and streamlined ensuite. Walks from the door, good food and nice ,relaxed atmosphere at the Lister Arms,. The Information centre very helpful. We will return!
Thanks for taking time to write a review. We are happy to hear you were happy with the accommodation. Hope we can lure you back to discover more of the dales in the future. Property Owner

"We had a really lovely, comfortable stay thank you."
We were lucky with the weather so managed to do all of the recommended walks and only used the car once to visit the Attermire caves and Scaleber waterfall just off the Malham to Settle road. Apartment was very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and really cosy super king sized bed. Would be good to have a spare kitchen bin bag or a bigger bin but that’s the only quibble.

"Ideal location in the centre of Malham with excellent walks from the doorstep."
Good views from front and back.

"We were really happy with the accommodation is all respects."
The only slight niggles were: there was some rubbish in one of the bins from the previous occupants and a few dishwasher tablets would have been helpful, We made much use of the information on local walks.
Really sorry to hear that there were a couple of niggles. We aim for the highest standards and will absolutely share this with the team. Dishwasher tablets are usually provided. Please accept our apologies. Property Owner

"Lovely property and very clean, only thing that I would add a couple of large breakfast bowls as the ones in the property are very small."
The Lister Arms is very good and so is the barn tea room, but I would stay well clear of the Buck Inn food is awful.
Thanks for your feedback, glad you liked the property. Of course suggestions are always taken on board. Property Owner

"This was a last minute short break to meet up with family passing through in their campervan."
Entry instructions were clear, the property is situated in a quiet spot and has lovely views at the front and rear. The kitchen is well equipped with pans, good knives, microwave and dishwasher. In the bedroom, the huge bed is very comfortable and there’s plenty of storage for clothes. The en-suite bathroom is clean and well appointed too. We only drove once during our stay to pop into a lovely farm shop a couple of miles south. Malham Cove and Gordale Scar are both easy walks from the door. Definitely a place we’d return to - thank you!
Thank you for your lovely review - delighted to hear you were happy at The Hayloft. Property Owner

"Thank you for a wonderful stay in Malham."
The cottage was very comfortable and in a very peaceful location. We enjoyed eating at the Listers Arms, Buck Inn and the cafe in the village. We also enjoyed a cooked breakfast at the Farm Shop just down the road. Lovely place from which to explore the Dales - we visited the Ribblehead Viaduct, Ingleton waterfall trail (highly recommend), Settle, Skipton Castle and town, Grassington, Malhamdale walk with all the main sights, then Stump Cross Caverns on the way home. We highly recommend the cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Thanks again.
Really happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and that you would recommend The Hayloft. It sounds like you packed in visits to all the local hotspots. Property Owner

"What more could you ask for, a superb cottage in the perfect spot in Malham."
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stunning property with everything you need for a comfortable stay and so close to 3 pubs, lovely cafe and 2 shops. Only advice I would give is about the Buck Inn, very disappointing. Bar staff were so lovely but food wasn't.Handy place for just a drink overlooking the cottage though. Best breakfast & lunch food place for us was Town End Farm, Airton(2.5m) Short distance away was Janet's Foss which we walked 3 times. Malham Cove just up the road. We would definitely book the Hayloft again without hesitation and hoping to make it our annual holiday.❤️
Glenn Thanks for such lovely words. So glad you had a wonderful time in Malham. We will look forward to having you stay again soon. Property Owner

The Cove consists of a natural cavern or 'amphitheatre' of limestone rock stretching 75 metres in height and 300 metres around the perimeter. A steep walk up man-made steps is rewarded with a superb view across moors and limestone pavements to Malham Tarn - the Pennines' highest natural lake. The village itself has pubs and tea rooms and a National Park Centre. Mountain bike hire can be arranged locally.
