• "Lovely property,well equipped,spotlessly clean,friendly owner."

  Location was fab ,had beautiful view from livingroom window.Local pub was dog friendly as well so bonus for us.Great base for walking ,even though the weather wasnt too great it was lovely to have cosy,warm Ferry view to return to after a trip out.Be warned though,large portions in every place we tried!

  Comfortable lounge and large tv was a plus. Beautiful sea view and our two dogs enjoyed their walks along the Esplanade.

• "Great friendly communication with owner, easy check-in."

  Property was spotless, modern and extremely comfortable. Stunning views over the bay. Friendly locals. Shops, great pub, beach etc 2 mins walk. Great for access and days out to the lakes, Blackpool. Truly lovely place to stay. 5 stars.

• "Lovely position on esplanade."

  Nice views and easy parking. Property was immaculately clean and had everything you could need for your stay. Comfy beds and superb en suites . Welcome bottle of bubbly, fresh milk and lemon cake was very thoughtful. Beautifully furnished. Very dog friendly place and nice walks along the front to the local pub.

• "This accomodation was very clean and well presented."

  We didn't fancy to cook so we opted for a breakfast that was just around the corner and lunches at other various places, it was nice to get out and meet all the local people .I'm sure we will be back again as the house is very close to many interesting places, thankyou.

• "This apartment was excellent, immaculately clean, comfy beds, and every thing you needed supplied."

  The welcome pack was great, the lemon cake was to die for! It's in a great location round the corner for every shop you will ever need. The only down fall is they are renovating the property next door. Tuesday night it was gone 7.30pm before they finished. Thursday morning they started at 6.45am. It would have been nice to have been forewarned when booking as we have a very nervous dog who was upset by the noise. Its our understanding that the property being renovated is owned by the same people of ferry view

  Hi, I am so sorry about the noise being made downstairs. The noise has now stopped but it was unfortunate that you had to listen to it. I would have forewarned you but I didn’t know it was going to happen as I am renting it out to someone who is going to open a kitchen & bathroom shop but I had no idea what they were planning to do and when. Luckily the noise has now stopped and if you ever return, it will be a quiet shop. I am so sorry once again but I’m pleased you enjoyed the cake! Property Owner

• "We had a lovely 3 night break at Ferry View."

  The accommodation was great, clean and comfortable with amazing views. It was decorated and fitted out to the highest standard. Knott End was delightful with a full range of shops and a great pub, The Bourne Arms. They welcomed our greyhounds wholeheartedly and we met many lovely locals, the people are so friendly. We will definitely be back!

• "Great Stay at Ferry View."

  The Kitchen was well equipped and had microwave, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, iron and oven. Up to the first floor there was a lovely living room with a good size TV and comfy sofa. The views over the bay were lovely. Two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, all very clean and modern. The village was lovely with a good range of local shops. Will definitely be back.

• "Absolutely beautiful and everything we needed was there."

  Bed very comfortable and kitchen fully equipped. Two bathrooms very useful and no shortage of hot water. Comfortable lounge. Beautiful view across the bay from lounge and bedroom. Would highly recommend.

• "Beautiful Ferry View what a lovely cottage with amazing views from the windows."

  There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay a lot of thought has obviously gone into it a credit to the owner. Nice welcome pack especially the yummy cake very much appreciated. We had a lovely stay lots of walks and shops just around the corner what more could you want. Shame the path to the beach was so muddy and slippery so we couldn’t access it safely but our favourite Cleveleys Rossall Beach was only a short drive so it didn’t spoil it too much. Will definitely be back.

• "Had a good relaxing stay."

  Went to Fleetwood a few times and the dogs loved it. Fabulous views from the upstairs lounge.very comfortable stay. Lovely place to stay and with my two poodles was a godsend. I will be back. Thanks again for a lovely stay. Sue x Ps my only slight problem was having to lift my poodle up and down the stairs forthe living room. As he had cruciate ligament operations and can no longer do stairs. This would have been good to know in advance. But hes only small. So we managed it well.

• "Well presented renovated property."

  Handy for the amenities of the small village. One excessively minor point. A more up to date and informative welcome pack with details on the ferry and things to do locally. Including details of the rubbish disposal, how to operate the dishwasher, local walks, etc etc. Other than that an enjoyable stay.

  The lounge has a stunning view of the bay and the kitchen table is ideal for people watching. The property is ideally located close to the shops, pubs & takeaways yet right on the sea front. Thank you for a perfect stay, we only wish we could have stayed longer.

• "Really lovely house and the pics don't do it justice."

  The house was very comfortable and clean with quality furnishings and good quality towels. The welcome pack was really nice including cake and wine. There is everything you need in the village and you can sit on the sea front where the views are amazing. We had a great week here and would definitely return and recommend.

• "We have been using Sykes for 7 years now and this could have been one of our best stays."

  Located right on the beach, the house was warm, welcoming and spotless. The welcoming package was lovely too (especially the homemade cake). Shirley also took the time to message us to ask how we had settled in which was really nice. We had 2 young children aged 10 and 6 and managed to fill a whole week with activities for them too. The house is not far from Fleetwood where you can cross over on the ferry and Blackpool where we had 4 days of jam packed activities. This is a fantastic house to stay in if you want the quiet with alot of walks and it isnt too far from other towns with plenty to do. The views from the house are fantastic too. The house was well equipped with all that you would need for homecooking if you don't want to go out for food constantly. 5 stars for this property and location.

• "Ferry view was very clean and comfortable."

  Great facilities and everything you needed. The position over looking the estuary was a bonus ,the sunsets were unbelievable. Knott end community are warm and friendly . It has a good variety of shops and some little cafes.

• "Fantastic stay at Ferry View."

  Accommodation spotlessly clean. Host contacted us on arrival to ensure, everythng ok. Really appreciated the home made cakes and bread, wine, eggs, milk etc in the welcome pack - made us feel very appreciated . The beds, linens n decor are all to an extremely high spec. Lovely array of local shops within few yards of cottage and view from the lounge is exceptional. Perfect place for a break. Would highly recommend.

  The house was spotless and all essentials were provided. Thank you to Shirley for the welcome snacks - the lemon cake in particular was delicious! The house is in a peaceful location yet not too far to travel to larger towns/cities for day trips if you wish. The view is fabulous. Thank you so much for a great week here. • "We had a marvelous holiday."

  Ferry View was a perfect base. The property was pristine and had absolutely everything we needed and more! Shirley the owner was lovely and she had left welcome goodies which were much appreciated, especially the delicious lemon cake and the loaf (both of which I'm sure would have won the great British bake off!!). • "Shirley went out of way to make apartment available to us short notice due to ferry cancellation and we are so very grateful."

  Apartment was fantastic with great sea front location and off road parking. We went bit out of season but kids loved playing on beach and plenty of shops very nearby for all your requirements. Look forward to returning in summer months. Fab accommodation and host. Thanks.

• "We booked this holiday property at the last minute ( literally 4 hours before we arrived )."

  The owner pulled out all the stops to make sure everything was ready for us on arrival. The property was right on the sea front, it was very clean and all the towels, bed sheets, covers etc were of high quality. The owner fell over herself to make sure everything was ok for us. This is a great property close to the shops, takeaways etc, all in all fully recommendable as a place to stay.
