"Fabulous cottage."
So well equipped, modern and comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Great holiday base - super walks from the door, and locally.

Lovely Cottage, welcome pack was a lovely surprise and a nice touch, WiFi was really poor and unable to enjoy streaming services on tv, very noisy road due to location of cottage & heavy traffic 24/7

"Lovely cottage."
Everything new, spotlessly clean and was perfect for our stay. Fabulous welcome basket with all the necessities and more. The only small negative was the Wi-Fi and access to any TV because of the lack of good WI-FI.

"Perfect little break with our 2 dogs."
Beautiful, well equipped cottage and a great location in which to discover the Yorkshire Dales. We particularly loved Malham Cove, Bolton Abbey and Gargrave. A few very small points. Internet not great and because TV was only delivered through the internet, what we were able to watch kept buffering. Some sort of radio would be an advantage.

"The cottage is a lovely place despite being on the main road and parking for more than one car would be difficult."
However, it was an excellent choice - easy to get to some good walks and one to Scaleber Force straight out of the front door. The mattresses on the beds were far too soft and bouncy for us and the duvets seemed to have been designed for use in the Arctic (a common fault in so many self-catering places) so we didn't really sleep too well.
Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and we are glad you enjoyed your stay and the surrounding area. As you found, there is space for two cars to the front. Our beds and bedding are extremely high quality and we have received a number of wonderful comments in our Visitor’s Book regarding their feel and comfort. Property Owner

"Only small issue, shower waste is blocked and drains very slowly."
Don't feel enough towels were left for the time we stayed One bath towel and one hand towel for three days. ? Everything else was fine.
Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and making us aware of the shower drain which has been dealt with. We always ensure that there is one bath sheet and one hand towel for each guest to use during their stay. Property Owner

Welcome pack lovely thought. My wife is cleanliness mad, and she could not fault it. Will definitely be staying again.

"Lovely cottage, well equipped in a good location for walking or catching the train to Skipton or Settle."
Five minute walk to the local pub which has good ale and food available. A short drive to several other similar village pubs. We found the cottage to be very clean when we arrived and it was a nice touch to have coffee, tea , milk and a few other provisions available.

"The cottage was in tip top condition with excellent facilities, very comfortable and homely."

"Lovely cottage."
Would def recommend.

"Immaculate property - very nicely finished throughout."
Well located for the Dales, Settle and Skipton. We had a lovely time staying there. Only one relatively minor concern and that is the property is situated on the A65, a busy road. The house is generally well insulated from the noise but would need to be perhaps more of a consideration in the summer when you might have your windows open. Overall a lovely place to stay.
Thank you for your feedback, we're really glad you enjoyed your stay at 1 Grosvenor Farm Cottages. Our listing is honest about the location of the cottage and having been recently renovated, the property enjoys an exceptionally high standard of insulation throughout. We are always on hand should you need any help during your stay. Property Owner

About the location
LONG PRESTON
Settle 4 miles; Malham 4 miles; Skipton 12 miles.
Long Preston is an attractive Yorkshire Dales village in Ribblesdale, twelve miles from Skipton (popularly known as the 'Gateway to the Dales'), four miles from Settle.
