"Booked with the family in August and had a lovely stay at this great property."
Clean, spacious and comfortable. The overall facilities were very good and we loved the decor throughout. Our favourite space was the back room where the kitchen is - nicely decorated, spacious, bright and with access to the garden. I personally also liked the 'disco shower' in the main bedroom ensuite! The owner was also friendly and helpful when we called prior to our visit. We wouldn't hesitate to return if/when visiting the area again and would highly recommend to others.
Thank you so much for this lovely feedback Mel & Adam. You were the most delightful people to deal with & even when we did make an error you were so gracious in solving things. Property Owner

"The house is gorgeous in a perfect, quiet location but still close to the bars, restaurants and the front."
The host was very friendly and helpful and checked in with us by phone on arrival and recommended great places to eat. We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely return.

"Lovely house and excellent central location"

"Had a lovely stay at Westwood House."
We were there when the weather turned cold and had to message the owner a few times to turn the heating on. Later we found all the radiators were switched off, but we had already spent two days very cold. Very spacious kitchen area with a heated floor. It has some nice touches, but it does feel a bit like Inspector Gadgets house. For example the shower has 8 knobs to turn to get anything to work, with a multitude of different lighting patterns illuminating the shower head, not sure who would need that? Lights switch on and off as you walk around the house, which is actually quite useful, but disconcerting for the first few yards in the dark before they ping on. It has a tap that supplies boiling water instead of boiling the kettle, again useful, but my wife managed to put it into child lock mode and couldn't unlock it until my children showed her how. Every TV operates using a different set of A4 instructions and several controllers. Even the microwave needed an instruction manual. Bed squeaked like crazy when moving around, we've informed the owner, as I wouldn't want anyone else going through 7 nights of that. That aside, it's a lovely period property, and the owner was very friendly and tried to be helpful throughout. It just needs that extra touch to make it a home from home.

"Great property in a great location"

"We had a lovely stay in this well presented property."
The house was furnished and decorated to a very high standard and communication with the owner was good. Location is excellent only 5-10 mins from Lytham town centre and 3 minutes to the sea front. Parking is on the street, so you don't always get directly out side the house but we managed to park somewhere on the same street each time.

"Every year we rent a property for our holiday and while we have been lucky to stay in some beautiful houses, this one is by far the best."
The accommodation met our needs extremely well. The highlight being the beautiful family room with wonderful kitchen appliances including a hot and chilled water dispenser. We never had a problem finding a parking space outside the house and, as always, Lytham was a great place to visit.
-
"Owner really helpful and contacts back quickly."
House is amazing and within walking distance of all types of facilities. Lovely family holiday in a great location.

"Initially when we booked on your website we were told private parking available for small car."
However near the time this was changed to parking available on street. During our fortnight stay, twice we came home and found no parking on the street and had to park nearby, probably due to xmas shopping, but it meant a few minutes' walk in the ice.

"Gorgeous property."
A real home from home. All the mod cons you could possibly want. Lovely and warm, comfortable and very clean. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the High Street, which has a number of boutique shops, main shops and loads of coffee shops and restaurants. You are spoilt for choice and can walk to all of them. A few minutes walk in the other direction and you are on the Prom. No issues with parking, always got a spot. Loads of places around to visit, we liked the mini golf at Fairhaven lake and trip to Blackpool to see the illuminations. Owner Christine lovely and very communicative. Would not hesitate to recommend or return. Five star stay thank you

"Westwood House is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for our stay."
It is within very easy walking distance of very many shops, restaurants, bars etc. The house was spotless and so so comfortable we didn’t want to leave, in fact had it been available for a few more days we would have stayed on. Lytham itself is a lovely little town with lots of local independent businesses. A trip to Lytham Hall is a really good idea. Also, I just want mention Christine the owner who was so very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. An absolute 5 star break. Can’t wait to go back Thank you
Awh. Thank you Jane for such lovely feedback. Hope you come to Lytham again. Xx Property Owner

"The house was beautifully presented , immaculate and warm."
Accommodation just as the pictures portrayed. So often they can disappoint but not here. Personal contact by telephone by the owner prior to our stay was most welcome and made us feel confident about our booking. We had a wonderful relaxing week and would highly recommend this property. Angie & Les

The house was beautiful. Location and amenities in area were great. Lovely shops and restaurants in Lythem for on a night and just a 2min car journey straight into St Annes and the town for our niece during the day. Always got parked.

"Maybe a hot tub would go down nicely in the back garden"

"The host gave me a call a few days before to go over a few things which was great."
The house is beautiful, very clean, great setting 2 minute walk to the lovely town. Very well equipped house, very high standard furnishings and great for 2 families as there are 2 large bathrooms and a toilet downstairs. The kitchen, living area is stunning with lots of light and leads in to a lovely, sunny garden. The neighbourhood is ver friendly and everyone is happy to chat. Lytham is a lovely town, fabulous restaurants or take seats if you want to stay at home. There is a great walk way from Lytham to St Anne’s, wide path for cyclists and walkers and safe for kids. Lovely park round the corner for people to enjoy the tranquil setting, there is a play park for kids, a cafe and bowling. There is a great park with tennis courts and crazy golf at Fair haven Lakes which also has a coffee wagon with great coffee and there is a kiosk with ice cream. Lots of ducks and swans there to look at. I have stayed in some lovely places in the world and this is definitely in my too 10 and worth a visit.

"Westwood House is a fabulous cottage set within Lytham."
As you can see from the pictures and information the house is spacious, well appointed and beautifully decorated throughout - and it does not disappoint when you see it!. The kitchen is also fantastic with top quality fixtures and fittings. There is a small garden which provides plenty of room to bbq and/or soak up the sun. The owner is also very helpful providing local information on places to eat and much more. It is only 5 minutes walk into Lytham which has a good selection of good restaurants and bars. The promenade running along the Ribble Estuary is also less than 5 minutes away which is perfect for a walk at any time.
