  • "A wonderful house that has been refurbished with flair, and with warmth and comfort to the fore."

A beautiful bath (I am not a shower person) with views! And what views! I know the area from 20-30 years ago but have not been back until now. How lovely to have window seats…..again those views. And an Aga! I know from experience how chilly it can get in The Pennines and May is often a particularly unpredictable time. The Aga was a special bonus. Plenty of space for parking next to the property; that is an essential requirement for me. And a generous welcome hamper of “goodies”! Ian and Jill are to be congratulated on creating such a delightful and welcoming property. Ann

The property was modern, well designed and excellently equipped. The house is beautifully decorated with stunning views and a lovely interior. The location seems remote but is within easy access of Lancaster, Kirkby Lonsdale, Settle and many other places. We got the opportunity to meet some of the lambs and our children adored playing with Pip and Dot- the farm dogs. They have already been asking when we are going back- a real hit with the whole family.
