"Lovely property, comfortable and clean."
No issues whatsoever.
-
"Clean, spacious, comfortable, dog-friendly property in quiet location ideally situated for exploring the northern Lake District."
The property has all mod cons, a well equipped kitchen and generous provision of cutlery, crockery etc. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within a few minutes drive and a nice pub within a few minutes walk. We appreciated the small treats left for us and our dog. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.

"Lovely property in a great location for visiting the northern lakes, Penrith and Carlisle."
The property had everything we needed for our weekend break and we would certainly book this again.

"What a great little find!"
! Such a homely comfortable and beautiful house. Everything you could need with facilities and household ‘equipment’. Bedrooms were large and spacious. Comfy beds and lovely bedding. Excellent pub for food down the road. The location was perfect for us as we always frequent Penrith, Keswick, Ullswater and surrounding areas. We have stayed in and around the area many times but never in such a lovely holiday house. We have a dog who we do crate at night and there was loads of room for her too. Secure front garden and friendly neighbour. Will definitely be staying again.

"One of the best cottages we have stayed in."
Happy to recommend. Stairs were less steep than most cottages, rooms good size, clean and in good condition. Village is a good location but you do need to go everywhere in the car.
-
"Excellent property, a perfect location."
Recommend the Sun Inn and Cranstons in Penrith for food every time! Will definitely be back.

"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage, it was so comfortable, it had everything we needed, the front garden was completely secure for our dog & good to be able to park out the back under the car port."
We did some great walks & most of them were only 30mins away so the cottage was in a great location & it was very peaceful there. Can highly recommend staying here, will definitely be going back. Thank you very much.

"We literally had the best stay!"
The cottage was clean, very comfy and had everything we needed. So many walks from your doorstep & the walk into Penrith was only about 45 mins. The little pub down the road did amazing food and everyone is super friendly. The only thing I would say is if you’re a light sleeper like me take some ear plugs… I take mine everywhere but this did not affect our stay one bit. All in all highly recommended and booking again for next year.

"Wonderful cottage with everything you need, and extremely clean."
Had a fabulous stay here and even stayed an extra night because we felt so at home. Will definitely return and would highly recommend. Thank you.
-
"A beautiful clean ,well equipped cottage in a lovely quiet location."
ideally located for a trip to the coast, Lake Windermere and loads more places nearby. Cottage is very comfortable with a lovely enclosed garden and plenty of parking. Friendly village with The Sun Inn just a stones throw away ( dogs not allowed inside the pub but are welcome in the garden) Will definitely return to this home from home property and highly recommend it.

Cottage was set in a very charming village which had all the amenities of Penrith close by. Property was very well kept and lovely and warm.

"Was a late booking due to our accommodation previously booked had had a fire."
Cottage was perfect for what we needed, very clean and a lovely welcome pack of tea coffee milk biscuits fudge and even dog treats would definitely stay there again

"Excellent property with all the facilities you're likely to need, and a few extras as well."
Would not hesitate recommending it or going again if our party is large enough. Our son's dog liked it so that says it all.

"My husband and I enjoyed our weeks stay in this fabulous cottage along with our dog."
The cottage is warm and cosy, has everything you would possibly need and is well located away from the throngs of the Lakes and Northern Pennines but easy to get to. Everything was well thought out and provided for. Wi-Fi was great as we both had to log in for work for a few hours. Smart TV and the log fire meant a thoroughly relaxing winters evening. There are some books and games in the cottage too. Parking off road at the rear of the property and a short walk to the nearest pub (not dog friendly though) Highly recommend for couples or a small group/family and would book again. The Dog and Gun at Skelton is a must visit!

"Great place to stay!"
The host was really friendly and welcoming! She had left a little basket of essentials with tea coffee milk biscuits and even some Prosecco in the fridge which was a lovely touch! The place has everything we needed for a lovely stay! The only slight downside is that one of the bedrooms are twin beds which was a little disappointing for 6 adults (3 couples) but this did not affect our stay! We would definitely return.
