"Lovely cottage but parking quite difficult"
-
"Had a brilliant stay at Mollys pantry, the cottage was spotlessly clean and literally down the road from a fantastic pub."
Access was a little tight if you have a large car but if your a confident driver it's not an issue. Would definitely stay here again!

"Molly's Pantry was exactly like the description and photos."
It was incredibly clean and everything was there that we needed. The electric charger for the car wasn't working, but the owner came and explained he was trying to get it fixed and to use another one he'd got installed. Very friendly and helpful. It was quite tight getting the car down the very narrow lanes, but once we got used to it, it wasn't a problem. Lovely walks from the door, but also a good base for exploring the lakes. We had a lovely relaxing time. Thank you.

"Great short break in the Lake District over Easter."
Cottage between Coniston and Windermere. Welcome pack with biscuits, tea/coffee sachets and sachets of milk. Thank you was welcomed after a long drive. Beautiful holiday cottage finished to a high standard. Warm, cosy cottage and comfy beds. Under floor heating. Electric Car charging point. Quiet location and easy access to points of interest. Ideal for Coniston and Ulverston for Laurel and Hardy Museum and local walks. Before arriving at the cottage, we recommend booking the Manor House local pub/restaurant as it gets busy.

"Great stay- clean, warm, comfy beds and had everything we needed."
Some things are a bit hard to reach in the kitchen, and access is a bit tight but definitely doable. Bathroom is downstairs which may not suit everyone, but is good, with a decent size shower. Underfloor heating kept us warm, and there’s a good size TV (often holiday cottages have a tiny TV way too small for the room size) but we didn’t find the sofas that comfortable, partly as they are a bit low. Booking direct through Sykes was much cheaper than their listing on another site for the same dates. Overall a great stay and I’d definitely recommend this cottage, it was perfect for our stay.

The only problems I had were the sink tap got scalding and the spout was steaming/ the beds were a bit too hard for my liking but you can’t please everyone Perfect otherwise

"Lovely cottage, impeccably clean and very homely."
We had a great stay at Molly’s Pantry and would definitely recommend. Thank you.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Molly's Pantry."
The perfect base to explore around lake Windermere, nice quiet location but close enough to attractions etc. The accomodation was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Would definitely book again

"This was the most beautiful and clean cottage we could have wished for it was warm and comfortable and perfect for myself and my family, The electric charging points for our car was a real bonus."
My only little niggle was that the only hand soap provided was a tiny little soap in the bathroom and nothing In the kitchen, other than that I would highly recommend this beautiful property.

"The only negative is the fact you have to go downstairs to use the bathroom."
-
"There was a beautiful mountain view just in front of the door."
The area of the house was splendid and the community was so friendly. We will highly recommend this place for a peaceful family holiday. We will 100% be back there again.

"We really liked the cottage."
There were lots of lovely walks straight from the door, and a great view from the front. My only criticism is that it seemed designed for very tall people. I couldn't reach the glasses and cups on the top two shelves. Luckily I had a tall person with me. Perhaps a step-stool could be provided for height-challenged people? Oxen Park is a very attractive village, and has a great pub with excellent food.

"The cottage was quite remote, and I don't feel this was made obvious on the information."
It tells you it's in a village, it's not. It is a tiny hamlet. The cottage itself has very recently been converted so is new. The bedrooms are excellent as is the bathroom and kitchen. But the living area for us was too cluttered and small, and this spoiled it for us somewhat because we like to settle down in evenings either watching a film or reading. It didn't have that cosy feel. Also parking if all 3 adjoining cottages are in use isn't easy. The small entrance makes driving in to the parking area a little difficult if you have a larger car. We have a Honda CRV and needed to bring in the wing mirrors every time. Anything wider and you wouldn't be able to get through. We also didn't feel there was any privacy from the other cottages if you wanted to sit out. The pub which is in the hamlet and 1 minute walk away is excellent however. Friendly staff and excellent food. Sadly we wouldn't return as the drive to the cottage every day is a little too much off the beaten track for us. For others I realise it's not an issue.

"Excellent all round you have thought of everything."
Quality fixtures and fittings. We had a fantastic stay.

"Really nice surprise to see the cottage tucked away off road."
I used the free electrical charger daily and this saved ££ in fuel costs touring around the location. I would recommend a towel dryer in the bathroom to hang the towels after use. Also, a small UV insect killer would be useful to eliminate the flies which were a pest (I know it is a farm but flies are irritating) :-) otherwise a great place to stay

"Lovely property for the 4 of us that stayed."
Kitchen fully equipped fridge freezer all utensils. Living room comfy enough for 4 with a smart tv and great wifi connection for all to use. Shower and bath facilities where 10/10. Only issue hot water does run out so time your showers well! Otherwise 9/10 for the stay perfect location to travel the lake district as it's close to coniston. would definitely return in the future!
We are glad that you had a good time and look forward to seeing you again. Thank you for your feedback - We have amended the boiler settings, so the hot water issue is now sorted. Property Owner
