"A wonderful stay at this apartment."
A great location with beautiful country walks and close proximity to the lovely coastal towns of Amble and Whitley Bay to name two of many beautiful northumberland seaside towns. The apartment was extremely clean and very comfortable and although above a pub which was lively on the Friday and Saturday this did not spoil our stay and ear plugs were available.

"Michael, greeted us and help us carry our bags up stairs and explained the facilities in the flat and around the village, he also pointed us to the nearest takeaway (none in the village) We enjoyed the pub everyone was very friendly and had a good time."
The area has some fantastic tourist sites and a visit to Cragside is a must. Would definitely stop here again, Michael is a very good host.

"Fairly comfortable , clean and spacious accommodation in a delightful, friendly village."
Could do with a new cooker hob as the old one was tricky to use as all setting symbols had worn away. Also new, lighter (4.5tog) duvets would have suited us better in summer months. Maybe new firmer mattresses also. No adjacent car parking but parked in view in village square.

"A very pleasant stay in spacious accommodation."
The owner could not be more helpful. Being directly above the pub there is occasionally some noise, but generally not a problem. Parking is available close to the premises, although not adjacent as the parking areas there are for the neighbouring property. Wark is ideally situated to explore the delights of Northumberland and Hadrian’s Wall, etc. Locally there are numerous pleasant walks, especially along the banks of the Tyne.

"Lovely village and spacious apartment."
Thank you for leaving plenty of teabags.Being tea drinkers we would have liked a teapot. Noise from the pub was a problem on one night-the bedrooms are directly above the bar. We had a great stay and appreciated the friendly people and the beautiful surroundings.

"Spacious, clean and comfortable flat well equipped in a nice little village."
Our host Michael and his team are very helpful and informative. The accommodation situated above the pubs bar was loud on one of our nights but no big deal . We enjoyed our stay and hope to return .
